The Pairing: Crossroads Wine & Grocer

Excellent shop run by excellent people. The selection is great. It’s a bit more boutique than your average liquor store, so you can easily find unique bitters, liqueurs, beer, and wine. They also have a deli selection so you can literally make “the pairing” you’ve been dreaming of. 100% recommend!

Very unique wine bar in the back of a wine store. The charcuterie board was delicious paired with the house wine of the day. Highly recommend stopping in if your in Kansas City!

This place is a gem and is one of the coolest places in KC, period. The staff, ownership, selection, ambiance are all top notch. I can’t wait to get back here soon.

Just the right amount of whimsy makes this convenient Crossroads wine shop / wine bar a "must stop" if you're 1) planning a romantic, little picnic; 2) in need of more wine; 3) ready to explore new wines and/or adult beverages. I'm also thrilled they have a decent selection of non-alcoholic "liquor" and wine options.

The exposed brick walls and touches of lumber make the aesthetic a perfect complement to your time spent living/working/playing in the Crossroads. BUT, let's be honest here, my favorite part of this ultra urban establishment is the semi-secret taxidermy sprinkled throughout.

Our favorite wine store / bar! The wine bar is open on Fri and Sat. The store has a wide and eclectic selection of wine, beer, liquor and other adult beverages. The bar offers a great tasting flight and a meat and cheese plate. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable.

The owner took such amazing care of me. He even let me sample a couple of the bourbons. Great selection and quaint store. This is a hidden gem but if you are looking for a liquor store that has it all and more this one is most definitely worth the trip.
Too bad I could only bring back so few bottles through customs...☹.
Of course that probably saved me a whack of money too.

Every time I'm there I feel like I'm home and my cup is filled... The owner is an expert, I should say everyone who works there is experienced in finding the special spirit you're looking for. Or if you just need to pick up your favorite beers, they have them too. Live music, beautiful foods... You're going to love it.

Henry at the wine bar provided one of the most unique wine tasting experiences. With a laid back, knowledgeable and passionate feel, The Pairings and Henry were able to transport us through various regions and types of wines. We were only in Kansas City for a weekend and are so thrilled that we accidentally stumbled upon this place. For the locals, please make this a regular spot - it’s phenomenal! For the visitors, make a small trip here- it’s so cool and unique! Thank you Henry & Slim! We’ll be back!

We stumbled on this place thanks to Google "liquor store near me" expecting just another downtown liquor store?...oooh nooo. They have a bar and market inside. The staff helped me find a new tequila that I had never tried and if it wasn't so good I could tell you what that was 😆🤣. I was hoping to buy the bottle and drink it there but it doesn't work like that. But I will be back.

One of the best bars/liquor stores in KC. I cannot speak highly enough about this place. Great selection of wine. The staff are very knowledgeable about wine and always have the best recommendations. They even recommended a great place in Napa for us to visit when we were there. They have a great selection of wine behind the bar, but you can also purchase a bottle and drink it at the bar for a $10 corkage fee. Highly recommend!

This place is freaking amazing. A quaint bar setup with no mixers. Wine, beer, and cocktails only, which was a plus for me. Great wines on the wine flight. And the food... Omg the food. Every day is a new, artisan charcuterie board.

Really cool place! Bought a bottle of wine and drank it at the bar. Then we got a couple whiskey flights, which was really interesting. Will definitely return!

Was suggested to go here, as I’m a charcuterie and wine loving vegan! Pictures of the inside don’t do it justice! Brick interior with wine-lined walls (all the way up to the ceiling!)Tables scattered throughout holding other spirits, a freezer section nestled in the corner with all sorts of goodies to pair with your beverage of choice, and then the bar! We ordered the traditional flight as well as the vegan charcuterie. The bar tender was beyond knowledgeable about the wines and was wonderful to chat with throughout our stay. The wines were fantastic and the charcuterie blew me away. I’m so happy to have a place near by that accommodates to my dietary preferences! The person who created our board was also very knowledgeable and gave us a run down of everything included. They even sell the vegan meats and cheeses so you can make your own at home! We could’ve stayed here all night! Great food, tasty drink selections, cozy ambiance, and great service! We will certainly be coming back! This place is a must try if you’re in the area!

This place...OMG....you can grab anything from a huge selection of health conscious snacks, vegetarian or vegan options and some DELICIOUS brews, wine or hard liqour. The Best Part....you can drink it there at the bar in the back, or take it to go. Brilliant Idea...YOU GOTTA CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! I found some brews here I have not seen anywhere else in KC! I love they thay have all the local stuff that's canned too:)

The owners and the staff that I’ve met are awesome! Friendly, helpful, they make sure you’re taken care of. Cool space, great vibes. Really good selection of beers, especially for the limited space they have. Whiskey as well. I don’t know as much about wine, but they do have a lot. Haven’t made it yet to dine/drink in, but my friend tells me it’s a great experience.
