Giant Eagle Supermarket

This isn't a huge store, nor is it the newer/newest concept... But what it IS - it's a really great Giant Eagle location! Produce is well-stocked and fresh as is the bakery. I always find something interesting (and usually on sale too!) in the meat department, but I go to this location because the pharmacy is amazing - 15 min or less in most cases, professional, helpful, and polite - and shop around while I'm waiting for my scripts. It's a pretty good lure if you think about it... And my cashier Michele B was so nice and helpful - offering me hand sanitizer after handling raw chicken was very kind.

This place is convenient and a shout out to Carter, the cashier, who is always friendly to me when I come in and to all of the people at the pharmacy who know me by name and are always very helpful 😊

I go to 3 of the Giant Eagle stores 2 do my shopping. The 117th store, Detroit Ave store in Lakewood and the Lorain Road Giant Eagle.
This store is always stocked right away. I shopped with the red head 1 week ago and she bought all of the 10 for 10 frozen dinners and I went back the next day and they were stocked again. I bought 3 or 4 of them.
So this store is good. It must b bigger because there are more products than any of the other stores.
I do not like how cold it is in this store. It runs me out at times if I am in there 2 long because my sinuses act up. My only complaint

They make excellent chicken. The gentleman was so great and helpful.

Diet grape soda unlike most stores. No VOSS water. Similar to Kroger. Clean.

Returning shopper since store revamp. Lovely, uber clean, bright and well appointed. The friendliest and most helpful employees I have the pleasure to encounter. Thank you Customer Service for saving my day. Great experience! Will now go out of my way to shop here.

I like this GE. It’s usually not too busy. The things I shop for are always in stock. I can get in & out rather quickly.

Janet from the bakery department was extremely helpful & understanding while preparing my sisters wedding cake. We made a mistake with pickup/ordering and she was totally understanding and helpful in making sure we got everything we needed on time! Super friendly as well. I lost the feedback survey but wanted to make sure she got the recognition she deserves, thank you Janet!!

This store has a great variety of products. However , the price of things seems to be increasing. Because of this I have been going to other stores as well.
I do not like so many self ring out. registers. There are way too many . That means people are losing their .jobs or hours. The registers in those line do not work very well necessitating someone to come and help with the problems

Another problem is that the motorized
Shopping cart for handicapped people are being used by kids and people. Who really don't need them. I dont know. How this can be solved . I wish it would be though..

The cashier could not have been kinder, they always are.

I always enjoy Giant Eagle for Selection. I understand prices are high, sometimes you can find deals

When I got married, we decided to get our wedding cake done by Giant Eagle (in Ashtabula, though) and EVERYONE thought it was delicious and one of the best cakes they've had at a wedding! Now, every time we have a special event my family gets celebration cakes at G.E.

Recently, my mom and I decided to throw a surprise birthday for my dad while they were up here visiting from Kentucky and we definitely needed a cake. So, I went down and spoke with a baker at this location and planned a simple sheet cake for the party! She was great to work with and helpful with suggestions and what they could do for the cake.

They went above and beyond what I had asked of them in baking/decorating the cake. I had asked for brown and orange party streamer designs along the edge to do a Browns themed cake. When I went to pick it up, they not only did the streamer designs, but added on Browns helmet and mini footballs to the cake, too! It was perfect! I know it might seem silly that something as small as this made the evening, but it was the little bit of extra effort to do more for the customer that made it awesome! Good job and thanks so much!

Asked associates where a couple of items were located and they knew exactly where they were and one even walked me there. Vegetables are fresh and well stocked as the rest of the strore. Ample parking and handicapped as well. Everyone wearing masks.

Really like this store. Was very sad my store on Lorain W 140th St closed, but I'm happy I found this store. Always find what u need, never have to wait ling in line(HUGE PLUS)!! Staff very nice

Ordered a catering service sized order and wasn't disappointed in ANY way. The food was ready on time, as promised & was presented with the most amazing customer service!❤ Food was delicious!

This may not look like the most modern Giant Eagle, but it certainly is well stocked, easy to navigate, and more often than has the fastest check out of any Giant Eagle I've been in. For a grocery store only minutes away, I couldn't ask for more.

Very helpful staff. Love it. Super neat and clean. Shelves always stocked to the max. This place is TERRIFIC. Love the bakery too. Everything is super fresh
