White Rabbit Thrift Store

went for the first time w my roommate earlier today! we had seen the other review but after going i just don't agree with any of what they said. the prices (in my opinion) are pretty standard and they have some really cute clothes! i got 2 skirts that i love and a really cute jar that im gonna use as a flower vase :)) it is a little far but like they said it is meant to be in between towns, not just for chico. the owner was nice and it just seemed to me like it was just a brand new business starting out and it takes time i feel like there should be more grace given. (also the pheasant couch when we went was in the 100s range not $700 so i just dont know what the other review was talking about lol)

Located right next door to Centerfolds Strip Club, on the VERY outskirts of town, is the newest member of Chico's thrift store community. Honestly speaking (because I never hold back my words)...it WON'T last long. When my family and I visited on OPENING DAY, less than half the items were priced, the lighting was atrocious, and the rest of the products were severely over-priced to the point of laughter. Some still had the Salvation Army price tags still on them. The owner wants you to haggle, but when items are 5-10X priced higher then they should be, it makes for a depressing visit. I would've included pictures, but much like Centerfolds...NO flash photography is allowed and frowned upon. I could go on about the prices: $7 for a used Hawaiian CD, $2 for a chipped coffee mug, $700 for a pheasant covered couch, and a mish-mash of other unwanted items priced far too high, but why!? Please, thrifters of all ages...stay in town and give your money to FAR BETTER thrift stores that help our community. The ARC, Goodwill, Salvation Army, and the Cancer Society thrift store. Hell, shop at garage sales, estate sales, and yard sales 1st before coming here, unless they offer 2 for 1 drinks at the "Club" next door.
