I had never tasted sourwood honey and saw that this was being sold by Sandy Bee Mine. Sandy Bee Mine had informative information about how the honey was made and that it could be only made during a specific time of the year. I thought the honey was delicious and used my first serving over pomegranate. It can came in a huge glass bottle with a wide mouth for easy pouring. I also ordered the lavender hard lotion and lip balm. Both products were very nice. The lavender hard lotion was great for my hands specially after gardening.
All in all, I would highly recommend ordering from this small production farm. They are local to the Asheville North Carolina area but ship their products throughout.

We booked an apiary tour with Dave and we can’t say enough good things! He was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed learning about the hives and beekeeping from him. We learned a lot and had a wonderful time. We can’t recommend Sandy Bee Mine enough! We’ll definitely be back and will be ordering honey from them in the future!

My sister and I went to a Honey tasting and a hands on Apiary tour yesterday complete with lunch, tasting, and a presentation on food pairings with different honeys. We tasted 5 very different honeys and even got to preview taste some new honeys...like Jalapeno Honey. It was so informative and a very unique way to spend an afternoon.
