The Collector's Kid

If I could give The Collectors Kid more stars, I absolutely would! Surfsandtrees and I have been coming to Carl, Liz, Gavin and Daryl for our Pops since 2022 before they moved to their new location next door in Batavia.

And of course Dan the man! Seeing him at The Collectors Kid on Sunday after my kidney surgery reminded me of why I love people so much ;) The location where I was able to obtain my beautiful Bulma card from Dragonball Z and Lion King 100 Disney card. The moment you walk through their doors you'll be transported to a world of nostalgic toys, sporting and Pokemon cards.

Besides their endless inventory you can get lost chatting with these marvelous people. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for their work in their products and customer service is so amazing! Shelves top to bottom and walls decorated with beautiful posters, bags, skateboards, and Pop Funko grails!

Whether you're a collector or just someone looking for a unique experience, The Collectors Kid is a definite must-visit in Batavia. You could even watch them on Instagram and WhatNot to see their inventory and shows. However don't hesitate in seeing them physically at the store because you will find yourself lost in a world of curiosities. Thank you guys for all your good work. :)

Great shop to go to for Pokémon cards. My son loves going here. They have a wonderful selection of cards and other things. The staff is awesome and friendly! Great prices on the cards as well.

Amazing collectors store filled with Funko pops, Pokémon cards, sports cards and much more! Amazing staff/owners. Gives you amazing deals on everything and if your looking for certain items they will take down your info and inform you when they have it. On whatnot and social media too would recommend checking out, definitely top 3 stores in illinois

Such an awesome shop. NOW THEY HAVE Funkos and everything in between. Always able to find something my gf and I collect. Great vibes and great prices. MY go to shop and I don't see that changing anytime soon! Check it out!

First time here and my family and I loved it 😊 they have a big selection of Funkos! it was nice to be able to see all of them even some I’ve never seen before, Definitely will be back!

Carl and his family are fantastic. Their shop is clean, organized and well stocked. I wandered in initially as a regular from next door, and they were instantly kind and welcoming to me, and they’ve treated me like family ever since.

Carl is incredibly honest and fair in his pricing, and has cut me some great deals since I started shopping here. I recommend this store to anyone, from casual to hardcore collectors of everything from trading cards to action figures.

It was our first time stopping in and what a pleasant experience we had. There is tons to see here, at great prices to boot! The entire time there, the guys were helping out a family shop for Pokemon cards, which I found extremely nice of them to do. 100% stopping by again!

This place is the best. I kid you not I have about 3-4 card shops half the distance from my house and u I consistently make the drive because of how great these people are. In addition, their great personalities match their pricing. This is a great card shop and more than fair. Carl, his wife, and his kid are the best! Always welcoming me when I come in and help me find what I need. All collector’s need to come here!

My kids and I love this store and it’s become a regular destination whether for specific new packs of cards or to peruse their awesome inventory of hard to find historical treasures. While the kids love the selection of baseball and Pokémon, their selection of coins and sports collectibles are also always updated. The owners are quick to answer questions and they treat the kids buying $10 with as much focus and respect (and there is often some free toss in!) as they would for the focused traders and collectors who spend significantly more.

Carl and his family/employees are awesome! The store is very nice with tons of inventory from pops to trading cards. I would rather drive 40 minutes to go here than a comparable store 5 minutes from my house. Definitely will be a repeat customer. 10/10

First time in the store after hearing so much about it online and honestly it’s the best card shop I’ve been to in the suburbs. The collection there is insane and they’re so reasonable with everything and how the market moves. With hobbies being as crazy as they have been over last year, especially trading cards, The Collector’s Kid is a HUGE breath of fresh air. 10/10 worth the drive no matter where you’re coming from. Can’t wait to continue business in the future.

Loved my first time going in. The people working at the store we're very kind and approachable. I ended up getting a vintage 1974 Joker figure for a decent price, also saw a bunch of old figures that took me back to my childhood.

An incredible experience from the moment I walked through the door. The Collector's kid had everything from Pokémon to all types of Sports cards, vintage toys, and vintage video games.(they even have PS5's!) The prices were extremely fair but what made me the life long customer was the experience. While I was in the store the owner was helping educate the kids. He was friendly and respectful. You could just see the glow on the parents face as he was talking to the group of kids. Both gentleman working the store were helping everyone out. It was a warm atmosphere. The city of Geneva is lucky to have a business like that in their community. For sure going to be a destination spot in the near future. Kudos to the Collectors kid.

amazing place! went in to look around with the kiddos, and left with so many great finds. owner was so nice and helped the kids start their football and baseball card collection. great atmosphere, family friendly! they even have a nice lounge area with coffee for the moms! we could spend hours in there. all of the prices are very fair as well! lower than ebay. we will be back soon!!
