Had everything I needed; clean, good layout. Used to Publix (hard for any grocery store to live up to Publix), but overall, a decent grocery store, would definitely recommend. Said it was a sixteen minute walk on Google maps... This is not accurate, almost double that from the Congress Plaza Hotel. Or so it seemed. Not really nearby if you stay here. But, lots of restaurants nearby on the way. Just know if you're at Michigan and Harrison, you're gonna walk a bit.

I really enjoy shopping Jewel osco. I have been shopping over forty years, at different locations. This location is near my home. The store is clean. The Staff is always willing to help you, if not their department, they will direct you to the correct department. I love the newly the newly renovated Store. The Store is open, and clean and well organized .

OMGoodness!!!!! one of the best Jewels in Chicago..my visit on 06/05/20 was Amazing the store was very clean organized ,stocked and very friendly cashiers..Way to go Team and Management this will be my go to neighborhood store when i move next month ❤😀😍📍👀

I love to shop at jewels store, they have different types of items you need, and can choose from. And a nice location.with a lot of free parking.

This Jewel-Osco is nice. It has plenty of stock and fresh fruits and veggies. Problem is the location it gets crowded quickly.

I would like to share a pleasant experience at this Jewel because of Vitalis! I always take a snap pic when something is on sale, has a coupon or discount before I go to the register. I don’t know if you are aware that it’s been in the news that most of the time you go to the register it rings higher than the price shown in the shelf and that’s why anywhere I go to Jewel, Mariano’s, Walmart etc… I always take a snapshot to proof what is being advertised for. Now, it took three employees two who didn’t know how to handle it but it was resolved by Vitalis in a fair, courteous and professional matter. Although they first said they would honor the price tag and changed their minds, I appreciated Vitalis expressing confidence in his explanation, he listened and he came up with a fair solution. Maybe some of you would insist about standing firm about honoring the price tag coupon but it’s important to also understand human error.

Stopped in early for a few things for a picnic I was attending. The 22 oz. fruit chunks are 3 for $12. Excellent! Fruit was very fresh and the chips were on sale also. That's all I needed at the time. They also had a cashier waiting, because I don't do self scanning. Very good experience!

Jewel always has the best food. Quality food, the prices are a little high, but you can count on the freshness of their products. They have been around since I was a child, I'm just kind of sad that they sold to a bigger company. We will see how they stand the test of time!

This Jewel has many things that you might not find at other Jewel stores. I really like this Jewel it was well stocked when I was there. The aisles are extremely narrow. That's the only thing I don't like, but it's minor. I can adapt. They had security in the parking area.

I love this Jewel , long opening houses, great Deals ! And directly infront of my door !

Prices are decent considering inflation depending on the items you need. Awesome product and meat sections. Cashiers check you out pretty fast. Liquor, lighters, smoking papers, beers, wine, etc are upstairs. There is an elevator you can use. The pharmacy staff are a joy to interact with! They're so sweet and knowledgeable!

The store was clean and in order firstly. The store associates was wonderful in the deli and seafood dept. The check out clerk was so sweet. Thanks for a quick and smooth shopping experience ♥

It was a nice walk from the hotel and when I got in there I was amazed about how big it was I didn't really get to look around and shop so I was there for purposes. It is a story of our choice to stop at when we're in Chicago.

Have been getting my groceries at this location for over a year now, only complaint is that sometimes the app will say they have something, but it’s not in stock or not at this location. But that’s the app’s fault haha.

I think they are a bit understaffed as it can be difficult to find a worker for help sometimes, but if you do need help you can find someone in under 5 minutes typically.

My budget was very low (as is for a lot of people today) however, there were so excellent findings i.e. two Pub burgers for only $1.98. I bought them. And a huge bucket of delicious ready to eat wings for $12.99. Dinner was quick and easy.

Lots of variety and reasonable prices. Bakery is very good.

Pharmacy employees are nice and helpful. You can get "10% off" coupons for getting vaccinated (one for each shot).

Brenda & Angela put together wonderful catering trays. Great service thx for helping us last minute coworker that passed away.

Food are fresh and price are reasonable, but when there are deals, they are great. Employees are friendly and great help. Signs and prices are everywhere to be seen. Place is kept clean and even have a bank inside.

This jewel has a fresh juice selection! Awesome! I went here for my Christmas dinner. The prime ribs were beautiful. I got a very nice looking 3 bone rib roast for a great price due to a Christmas sale they're currently having. Nice selection of salads, olives,and hot foods too.

Historic super market with good discount groceries in nice ornament space.
