7-Eleven

You can never go wrong at 7-Eleven locations because they always have the basic foods or drinks to fuel you temporary. Luckily we have many that are posted throughout the city of Chicago which makes it convenient when you are out-and-about.

I get so excited when I see 7-Eleven locations en route to my destinations because very few have ever let me down. I can always find the selection of junk food that I desire as well as quick foods that fuel me on the go. Locations that have let me down in the past were ones that did not have a decent selection of cold sandwiches as well as pre-made pizza, burgers, hot dogs or chicken wings inside of the warmers. Very basic things, but if you are ever inside of a 7-Eleven that does not have those basic things then you might want to try a new location.

Anyway, I dropped into this location while driving down Western after leaving my bank and the local thrift store. Once I saw this 7-Eleven it was love at first sight because I had not eaten all day and thankfully this location had freshly made pizza inside the warmer to fuel me on the go. And for that I thank you dearly 7-Eleven. The only negative thing that I can say about this location is that parking is crappy, but there is the option to park within the neighborhood. The parking situation is understandable because this store is located along one of the busiest streets in the city.

I mean it’s fine , it’s 7/11. It has everything you need, slurpees, snacks, etc...just wish the store was cleaner. It just always seems very dirty. And I’ve seen produce that’s literally rotting sitting in the basket for long periods of a time.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT HERE! They absolutely will not honor the prices that they state! Two pops for $4 is false they charge full price 2 beef sticks for $3 is false they charge full price the buy one get one for $1 on candy bars is false they charge you full price for both! Absolutely none of their advertisements will be honored! They are signs on the front of the store and signs on the shelves that tell you the price yet they will charge you more and not honor any two for whatever price they have!

Ordered on 7now. They missed the two most expensive items on the order - 2 cases of beer. Half filled one slurpee. Didn't include the other. The delivery was picked up by Doordash (should have just ordered from them!). Doordash driver was willing to go back to get the items, but asked me to call to set it up.

The stores listed number on the website and Google is disconnected. The 7now customer service phone rep said the only missing item was the kit-kat the store marked as missing, but since I submitted an email I'm already getting a refund so she cannot process it. I asked her how much the refund was for if it's being processed, she claimed she couldn't see it. I asked her to connect me to someone who could see the amount, since I've gotten no email confirmation, or app confirmation of a refund. She said no, but I'll get it when it processes in 2 days...

Literally SOL, I guess. Should have read the other reviews before ordering from here.

As a former 7-Eleven employee I ordered delivery from this place and the employee working there 03/14/22 at around 9pm, purposefully scanned the wrong item on the 7NOW as to not cancel my entire order, they purposefully scanned the slurpee cup without making it and they scanned many other items but did not include them. The FC in the area needs to do a better job. Im pretty sure im not the first customer.

The employee who was near the slurpee machine on 7/11/19 who was monitoring the machine was very disrespectful and rude. He first called us over to the machine by saying in a rude tone ”cmon this is the only thing you’re here for”. The harshly handeling the cups and asking what flavor we wanted, then shuned the 5 of us out of the store without even the slightest kindness.

The employee in question has one of a darker complexion, Indian per say. Was wearing a blue shirt and had no identification of working there.

On the way out a lady kindly said and agreed with us that he was being rude. Zero stars if I could.

Evening shift guy was super rude, he was not wearing mask also and he charges extra , when we asked he say this is price if you don’t want then go somewhere else

Seriously, the worst store ever. It's closed when it's supposed to be open and I'm not even gonna get into why they might be closed.to certain people at certain times.

The man behind the counter is SUPER rude! Will never visit here again! It's time to change careers buddy when you're that unhappy with YOUR career choice!
