Rothy's Valley Fair

Fred went above and beyond to get me the shoes I have been wanting for an upcoming trip to Canada. His professionalism and expertise on product was so appreciated and I am so happy with my new purchase. Cannot recommend Rothys enough. Thank you, Fred!

Update: Rothy’s emailed me saying they reviewed my account and are sending me a smaller size and I don’t have to return my size 7s to gift them and that’s exactly what I did. But I am really happy to have the shoes in my size!

I recently bought a pair of Rothy’s and I have had several of them in different styles. I always buy in a size 7. So when I bought on their latest sale I bought a size 7. They were too big and won’t let me exchange them for a smaller size. I’m not trying to get my money back just trying to exchange them and they won’t do it. Will never buy Rothy’s again!

What a dangerous place Rothy's is... their products are not only stylish, but also sustainable?! Shut up and take my $$! During COVID, my Rothy's addiction really took off. Ever since discovering there is a store at Valley Fair, I have been able to enjoy seeing so many of these amazing shoes and bags IRL rather than taking a chance on what I see on the computer screen. The staff at Rothy's Valley Fair are all so friendly and helpful. When they let you know about the quirks of Rothy's shoes, LISTEN TO THEM! I've always been nervous to try new styles online, and I've found that I have slightly different sizing depending on the shoe style. It has been so helpful to be able to go into the store and actually try on various sizes and styles without needing to deal with the hassle of online returns. Everyone at Rothy's is always so patient as my try-on pile stacks up. It seems like Rothy's has been constantly releasing new things; I'm always finding something new every time I visit. Definitely a dangerous thing for my wallet. Visit this store, and you won't regret it!

Love Rothys! Just got my 3rd pair last weekend. I wish Rothy had a warranty policy, where they are able to repair the shoes. By anyway, my last experience, slightly disappointed with the customer service. Jenn has major attitude and was rude. At the time I came in, the store had 2 workers and 2 customers, each worker assisting each customer. I was very patient while waiting for a worker to be free, it happened that Jenn was free first, so I asked for help. BOY, I should've waited for the other worker. Jenn had a nasty mean attitude. I thought it was just me, but my husband asked why was she giving me attitude. Yeah, I don't know.. but anyway, I escaped her and the older Asian gentlemen and the African American worker helped me. They were freaking awesome! I own the flats, slip on, and point, I love them all. Super comfortable.

I've been a big fan of Rothy's since 2018. I've personally own more than 10 pairs of Rothy's as to date...not including my husband's...and was SUPER EXCITED to learn about this new store in San Jose (closer to home). Often times, I go into the Rothy's store in San Francisco and check out the colors and sizes in person. I went over this past weekend, to try on a pair of what turned out to be "display shoes". The Point shoe and oh boy, the lady that was working there was hella rude. I wanted to see if the color matches my skin tone and she BARKED at me, THAT IS A DISPLAY SHOE. WE DO NOT TRY ON ROTHY'S DISPLAY SHOES. The sales associate here can help you with the size you needed. And I've replied I'm sorry, the San Francisco store didn't mind us trying the display shoes (which is what you can do in any other shoe shop) and SHE YELLED BACK, NONE OF OUR STORE ALLOWS IT! Ok, that was enough for me to leave and never come back. Take your money and go to the San Francisco store instead. The customer service is kinder there.
