Bamboo Coffee & Donuts

This is not your average donut shop! Super cute with a fun, whimsical feel. Staff was friendly and walked us through the menu. The cake donuts are delicious and come in unique flavors like red velvet, rose petal, campfire, and blueberry with maple frosting. Or you can get classic chocolate glaze like I did. They also have a wide variety of classic and specialty coffees.

Our first time at Bamboo was an amazing experience. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee and we also orderd 1/2 doughnuts. The service and hospitality were over the top. The coffee was delicious and their doughnuts were equally amazing. My favorites were the Red Velvet, Churro and Strawberries and Cream. My fiancee loved the latte and rose doughnut. The owner gave me a free sample of the Mahola cold brew and this coconut oil infused coffee made it a must return. We went back today and got the Cold brew and it did not disappoint. Thank you Thai and crew for such a wonderful experience. You our now my favorite coffee shop in town and I cant wait to come back.

These donuts are amazing!! Crispy edges, soft inside, not overly sweet (which I love. I feel like most donuts or waaay too sweet). We live in Fisherville but I made my husband drive out here at 7am to buy some for my birthday 😁 We are VERY pleased! He said the owner was super friendly, welcoming and genuine. Definitely worth the trip and we will be back!!

10/10 donuts and coffee. I love cake donuts and theirs are the best I've had in Louisville. The coffee is also very good and a nice variety of drinks to choose from. Can't wait to go back.

I'm in love. Got a dozen to try almost every flavor and they are all incredible. New favorite donut shop easily. Didn't try the coffee yet but they have some tantalizing specialty drinks that I'll have to try on future visits.

We came in and tried their Ube Latte and Viet coffee and both were delicious! Donuts were also great! The staff were very helpful and friendly. I wish I lived closer so I can stop by more often. Can’t wait to go back! Hopefully they add tables in the future! Overall, great experience!

Minimalistic and swanky donut shop with a unique variety of donuts you won't find anywhere else in this part of town. The staff are friendly and competent and are quick to give a rundown even in the middle of a busy rush. Their espresso is fantastically fresh and they offer many different coffee options for those bored of the average latte.

Atmosphere is very comforting along with the service, the coffee came out quick along with the donuts. I picked a half dozen with a wide variety of donuts from s’mores to a Belgian waffle. The donuts were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside without it being a lot of air, for me it was the perfect donut. The coffee is great, it’s not over sweetened like a lot of coffee is here and is rich in flavor, I enjoyed the Bee Knees coffee and my wife enjoyed the Ube latte. This small buisness was definitely worth waking up early for and I recommend everyone at least give them a try. P.S in the photo there is only 4 because I couldn’t wait.

2-week old donut shop in the neighborhood!! Highly recommend!! Yummy donuts, fantastic, friendly customer service, and close to the house. One of my go-to donut joints now. The selection and variety of donuts is refreshing and the price is on par with competitors.

Dropped by and had the classic drip coffee and some of their donuts. The coffee is really surprisingly good! The donuts are delicious, they have a lot of cake style ones as well as classic, and they’re quite enjoyable. The prices are also very reasonable and the owners are really wonderful to talk to ^_^.

Popped in this morning for a little treat after grocery shopping. Just walking up to the entrance, I could sweet all kinds of delicious donut baking scents in the air. The iced Vietnamese coffee was absolutely delicious and the campfire donut was all kinds of good. Soft, fluffy, not too too sweet. Service was fast, friendly and they seemed pretty busy. Can't wait to try more options on their menu!

These are some of the best donuts I have ever had. I went back about 3-4 times in a week. My favorites so far are the churro (omg!), blueberry (yum!), and the sesame banana bread with chocolate chips (insane!).

Just go. Eat a donut. Drink an ube latte.

Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful from the moment that I walked in. I was walked through the menu and they were able to make suggestions for me based on what I would normally get at a coffee shop. The donuts are delicious and there are a lot of unique options. They even have some that are gluten free! I really enjoyed my first time visiting this shop and I will definitely be back!

The whole experience was fantastic! The mapleberry was surprisingly amazing, and the bite of the sample glazed waffle was completely delightful. Between my kids and I, we got almost everything on the display, as well as a hot chocolate (regular and white, mixed) and an herbal tea and everything was really good. The staff was very friendly, patient and helpful, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
