The customer service at Bazaar is on another level. The owner is a master of taking care of his customers. If you're looking for a particular product, he doesn't point, he walks you over. If you ever have an issue with a purchase, he makes it right plus some. Pair that with the best selection of middle eastern and Indian goods around and you have place you can trust, rely on for your needs, and look forward to visiting.

I have been to Bazaar in Vallejo about a year ago to pick up whole ratanjot for making authentic Kashmiri Rogan Josh.

I've included a snap of my sales receipt dated September 30, 2023 as proof and authenticity of my review.

Because Vallejo is far from my home here in Vacaville, I don't normally go there regularly to replenish my Indian grocery and masale needs.

This changed, when my goto Indian grocery in Fairfield, CA no longer stocks Karnataka Byadagi red chillies (whole and dried). I needed these chillies (and along with Kashmiri red chillies) for blending masale mixes for use in Marathi (Konkani and Malvani) cooking.

Long story short—I reached out to Bazaar and I asked Daman-ji to consider stocking these chilies (they don't normally stock them). I received a happy news after about a week or so that Bazaar now stock Karnataka Byadagi red chillies.

I've picked up (2) 200-gram bags for 3.99 USD each! That was competitively priced! The Deep-brand is a trust and quality Indian brand.

I highly recommend Bazaar. They store is wonderful, clean, and wonderful customer service.

Anyone complaining should ask yourself, "Did I follow the Golden Rule of treating others the way I expected to be treated?"

Bazaar is a grocery store (you're not shopping luxury on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills); they are not going to throw dried rose petals on the pathway for you and hand you chilled champagne, when you enter the grocery store.

***Be kind, polite, and respectful towards the store staff and they will bend over backwards to help you find anything you're looking for in their Indian grocery stock.***

The cleanest and most kind staff. Truly family ran. I can’t speak on all stores but this is definitely the best in this county. Shopping elsewhere makes no sense now when it comes to Indian middle eastern and Pacific Islander goods.

The new owners are great. Kind and helpful. They always have fresh sweats and vegetables. My mom always prefers this place over any other.

If you like to cook with Indian ingredients, this place is an amazing find. There is so much variety, items are very fairly priced, and the store staff is knowledgeable. Prices are sometimes a bit difficult to find, but just ask the staff. All the spices come in generous sizes--you will need to learn new recipes to use them all!

Apparently I was frozen in FaceBook time, too long standing in front of his shop.

He comes out and says “can I help you with something?”

Me: “Well, I was just writing a post on Facebook, but if you would like to help me finish my post, sure, here’s my tablet, and what I wanted to say in this post is…..”

Well, he did ask me if he could help!

His shop is one of the best in the North Bay Area for getting all your Indian food supplies, delicacies, deserts! Great guys running the shop! Been going there for years.

This place is hands down the best Indian grocery store in Vallejo. The customer service is excellent and they’re always helpful with any questions you may have. The store is very clean and organized making it easy to find whatever you’re looking for. If you’re in town and need anything from fresh produce to middle eastern deserts, you gotta stop by and check them out.

Been living in Vallejo for 15+ years now and this is my go to place for Desi spices/groceries, especially since the new owners took over a few years back. Daman is very helpful and I enjoy the variety of items they sell, especially the Halal meats!

This place is a hidden gem. A wide variety of food, fresh produce and household supplies. I came in for a few spices and the friendly and knowledgeable staff not only showed me what I needed, but gave me a few tips on how I can make the recipe even more flavorful.

Also, I am a bit of a clean freak and this place was immaculate. Everything was put away nicely and kept up much to my liking.

I’ll definitely be coming back. Keep up the great work!

My go to grocery store for my South Asian/Indian needs.

The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful with any question you have. They were able to provide me guidance on which ingredients I was looking for.

Their prices are really competitive in comparison of buying spices from Safeway/Trader Joe's. What I would spend $120 on any other store for 1/4 of the amount of spices, I get for $70 in this store and big quantities.

One of the very few places in Vallejo where you can buy goat meat and good quality basmati rice. They have a good selection of spices, and other Indian delicacies along with frozen stuffed breads and freshly made sweets.
