I love this company.. The pecan praline cookies were super fresh and I could tell they were freshly made the day of shipping. Same w/the pecans. The benne wafers were awesome, good w/either honey, jelly, or peanut butter I put on them. The black beans were very tasty as well. There were lots of different products to order. I really enjoyed the chocolate expresso beans, chocolate flavored pecans, and cheesy bites. The cheesy bites would go well with soup too..

You can find the BEST variety of CHARLESTON gifts here! Edibles for different occasions, such as the oyster bucket. The owners are VERY nice and helpful.💙They certainly know and love Charleston.💙 The variety of baskets, the salsas, key lime cookies, and benne wafers made EXCELLENT Christmas gifts!!

You guys have THE BEST TAFFY I've EVER TASTED!!! We live in Oregon and while in S.Carolina for a wedding, my siblings bought me some. I will never eat taffy anywhere else. We're suppose to have the best salt water taffy....until there was you! I'm so thankful they are online to deliver!!!

Love ordering from Charleson Specialty Foods. They always have unique items and gifts with great customer service. We love to get our Low country food fix from Chicago. I have had the MOST incredible experience with Charleston Specialty Foods this year. With COVID-19 preventing lots of social interactions, I needed to get 15 gifts to dear friends from California to Texas to New York State. As a native South Carolinian, I thought that a little southern meal would be the best possible gift: warmth and love! Breakfast biscuits, pancakes, grits, ham and soups for my friends in the cold northeast! I ordered online and also needed to call for several questions. This team was amazing. Friendly, helpful, quick and so professional! While I wish I could have been in Charleston to purchase the goodies personally, I had an amazing experience ordering from afar. Highly recommend this company for easy gifts and special moments... share a little love from Charleston!

Now that I live in California, I can say that the weather in California is great, and so is the surf, but, that is the only thing that is great here. Glad to have accidentally found your store on line. I sure do miss Charleston a lot. Especially the food and the people. Nice to see that I can now order some badly needed Southern staples to stock my kitchen with. Sure wish I would have known to purchase one of your baseball hat's before moving. I hope your business thrives! BTW, nobody in California seems to know what real grits are. The only grits are instant grits.

A very nice and homey little shop. Their selection encompasses the south in such a delicate manner. I was in and out with what I needed while aided by a very kind and welcoming gentleman. This is a great place to frequent when sending gifts to friends who no longer live in Charleston!

Second State is a great little coffee shop. The toasts & waffles are delicious!! The pour over I had was incredible. I loved the hint of blueberry & chocolate in the coffee. We will definitely be back!

I needed local raw honey so stopped into this charming shop. They were so accommodating and offered samples of their cookies which were DELICIOUS, so delicious I grabbed a bag of them to buy. Their system was having issues running my card so they GAVE me the cookies! I have yet to try the honey, but am looking forward to it!
