They were having an End of the Year sale. 50% on already marked-down items. I walked away with a $108 pullover wool-like coat for less than half. A small but well-designed store. The staff was super helpful despite being swamped with customers. The clothing seemed designed for older women. Would recommend it.

This is not a big store, but it’s always packed with the best styles of the season, and has such friendly helpful employees. Really great sales too.

Talbots is one of my go to places for classic and contemporary clothing. The staff is available to help, the store is easy enough to navigate, the Sale rack is worth a look and if you purchase an item of clothing that is classic it will last a long time.

At first I was a little put off, but Cindy was great and took care of my return and exchange and did a store search for my shoes
