Weekends carnitas menudo and barbacoa, very good perfection if you are into mexican food, always good produce and more, plate made with ingredients purchased at La Flor, stuffed bell peppers and rice

One of the best grocery stores in the area. They always have all the produce fresh. Definitely my go to store when buying meat. They also have really good tamales and carnitas on the weekends!

Awesome new owners, exceptional food. Tamales, menudo, carnitas salas, beans are the best, and done the authentic way. Great fun people.

This is the only family owned store I trust to get my meat and the butchers are very friendly.
My favorite part about coming here is when they offer carnitas (cooked pork for tacos or sandwiches), barbacoa seasoned beef for tacos or sandwiches), and menudo (tripe soup) on Sundays. Umm, umm, DELICIOUS 😋 😍!!!

Tip: you got to get there early otherwise you will be standing in a long line. Although the line moves quickly it is hard to navigate your way through the crowd because it's a small store.

They have the best fresh meat in the area. They also have the best carnitas on the weekends. This place is great. This is a small business run by a great family. Everyone is extremely friendly and always helpful. I suggest that everyone check this place out.

THE best carnitas from a grocery store in this area! There is nothing better then being in line and when you reach the front they bring out a steaming hot tray of fresh carnitas. You always buy more than you want but you finish it anyway. Try the barbacoa too. (It's a Sunday morning thing. for those not familiar)

Very friendly staff and owner! They also have some of the best deep fried fish and carnitas but expect a long line during the weekend if you plan on getting carnitas!

Come here always for they homemade chorizo! And all fresh meat cuts. Also in lentel they make shrimp and fish. They have fresh cheeses! And made flour tortillas. U just have visit! And try once!

Small Mexican store. Has everything you need from fresh meat, fruits and veggies, bread, milk, eggs. Weekends that have carnitas and menudo, the best I've had so far. Prices are very descent. Great customer service.

A Local & Personal Favorite but if you know what's good for you, You won't upset the locals or cause trouble. I MEAN IT, Buy stuff and Get out, anything else might cost you more than you've bargained for P.S. don't bother or Harass the Cashier's. there is a Guy who can literally throw ya out the windows. as a Body Guard at this place. Don't talk to him, do not disturb in any way, His name is Jack, in fact just don't bother anyone at the store if you don't want yer skull curbstomped outside the steps.

Fresh,Delicious Carnitas,Menudo, Tomales,Barbacoa..Awesome Custoner Service its way better then Lily's on 99th & Ewing..Lilys there prices are waaaaay to high & the workers in the restaurant area are very rude & they ALWAYS memic the Customers that go there.Thats Very Unprofessional.I wouldn't recommend people on going there..because of there Unprofessionalism Customer Service & there high sky pricing on all there items food,etc..to EXPENSIVE!!!!!!..I wouldn't recommend Lily's on going.

Best carnitas in the East Side. Sunday mornings, you will have a small waiter bit it's worth

Great Customer Service..Its way better then the other stores on the East Side..I had went to Leons on the corner of 98th & Ave L and that store is Filthy & to DARN High on there products..
