The Hope Shop is the best local, mid city, gift shop with handmade, fair trade items! They always have the cutest decor items for all the seasons, racks of gently used clothing as well as handmade clothing! They also have things for all of the kids in your life. I leave The Hope Shop with my hands full of quality items and my heart full of gratitude for the impactful work they do every single time I visit. 10/10 recommend. GO CHECK IT OUT!

This place is a Baton Rouge/mid city gem! It’s the only fair trade shop in the city, I believe, with products sourced from global and local artisans. Last Christmas, I decided to shop local for my kids gifts and I pretty much got everything here. Their products are so cute, not to mention sustainable and handmade with love!
Oh and the sales associate was incredibly helpful and full of ideas.
