Thyme & Season

I love this little health food store. They have a decent selection of products despite their limited space. I find the prices are not unreasonable and some items are even in-line with or slightly cheaper than some supermarkets. They also carry items you won’t find in the big-chain stores. The convenience of going to Thyme & Season rather than one of the over-crowded supermarkets is worth it to me. It’s clean, well-organized, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there’s generally not a long wait at the registers. Eventually I will be moving out of that area, so I will miss this place.

While passing through town for a week, I found myself frequenting this place quite often. It's undoubtedly one of the best small health food stores I've had the pleasure of visiting. The staff is not only friendly but also consistently offered assistance in finding anything I needed. Their product selection is impressive, and they make a conscious effort to feature a substantial number of local brands. Although the prepared food section is modest in size, they offer a commendable variety, particularly from a local establishment called Sanctuary Kitchen. I must mention their dumplings, which are absolutely fantastic. The store boasts a sizable supplement aisle, and it's quite evident that it enjoys a steady stream of customers, a testament to its popularity. It's a bustling place, but the crowd is manageable and doesn't hinder your shopping experience.

Love this store. I bought a lemon today that looked like it just came off the tree. Also found this butter that was made with sea salt. Another time I bought tomato purée. I was a bit nervous because I never made my pasta sauce with a purée I never heard of. It turned out to be the best sauce I ever made. Of course organic and fresh food is more expensive. You get what you pay for.

I absolutely love this store. The staff are kind and knowledgeable. They carry products I can't get anywhere else. There is a good selection of gluten free and dairy free items.

a few weeks ago, I had the pleasure with speaking with Linda in the supplement aisle. She recommended that I try Solgar#7 along with Toparcin cream and a week later, I'm happy to say I'm almost pain free! Thank you for helping me get back to living without hand pain!

this place has some great soup! also a wide selection of hot foods and packaged sandwiches. the produce section is small yet has everything you might need for last minute groceries. can get a bit crowded sometimes but when 3 lanes are open the line moves fast.

Very nice and helpful staff. Seasonal specials. Great place to stop for lunch or to pick up dinner. My go to place for vegan cheeses!

Such a cool place! I think it's pricey but they have better quality and nice stuff more! It was fun to walk around inside of store :) Also the cashier was very friendly, I'd love to visit them sometimes!

Another great natural foods variety store. This one in my town Hamden. Everything I saw looked fresh and good variety. It is worth going north on Whitney Ave on left just past route 40 intersection.

Very friendly and helpful staff. If you are looking for a vitamin or supplement, go there. If they don't have it, they'll order it for you.
I usually drain their fridge of the LaFermier yogurts. Cheaper to buy here than the other grocery store that sells them. Healthy food. They usually have a healthy homemade warm lunch to purchase also.

I don't live here and loved finding a store like I shop out of state. I went here 5 times and got herbals, frozen foods, dry foods and produce. Tried a bunch of new items and a vegan sandwich made here.
The service is great. They always get you talking and have a warm feel at the registers

What a great experience from the moment I called, to when I arrived and checked out. Mark was able to hold something for me until I came in. When I arrived he was helpful and kind. It is a great store full of vegetarian, vegan options and goodies. Never thought I’d see a vegan chocolate Santa Clause! It also smells really good when you walk in :)

This place is unbelievable! The food is to die for! Chef should be up cooking in Park City it’s that good!!!!

Great local health/organic grocery store! They also have a great hot food bar in the back - everything is always very tasty with vegan options. Love their bulk selections of grains, nuts, teas, spices, and coffees. They also have a very expansive selection of vitamins and supplements. I would like to see more locally sourced produce though! They seem to have most of their organic produce shipped from far away places like California.

Great option for quick snack and bite to eat. One of my favorite items to purchase are the vegan parfait(small/large options) they go fast so call in to check if they have them. They also have a hot food bar vegan and vegetarian option plus soups. There's a bulk food section inside the store. Great place and would recommend. If your vegan try out the parfaits today!

Great place for organic, locally grown produce. They have a wide variety of supplements and the staff is very knowledgeable about their products. Their hot food bar is delicious (different every day)! They have prepared food too....salads, sandwiches, and wraps. My only complaint is there's always too many carrots on the sandwiches. There's also a wide selection of frozen food that includes meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free items. There's plenty of other things they have that I didn't mention, like locally made vegan peanut butter cookies that are sooo yummy! My favorite things about Thyme and Season are the friendly staff and knowing that I'm supporting a local business.

Such a great selection of foods packed into this place, from vegetables to bulk spices to supplements to candy... all kinds of great stuff. And the prices are very reasonable. This isn't Price Chopper; you're paying for quality and convenience. Normally I'm in an out of this place quickly, which I love.
