Best comic shop in Ct. The owner is extremely nice and knowledgeable in all aspects of comics. They have a great selection of Comics, Action Figures, Statues, games, pokemon cards, etc... the list goes on and on with collectibles. If you're looking for a fun place to go, I highly recommend Boom Tube Comics.

Dan took a chance and made a place where novice collectors and experienced collectors can enjoy their hobby. Boom tube is not a comic store it is an community of of kinds of people who share tips, information and stories as we come in to pick up our books. Family friendly and new comer friendly between the staff and the shoppers everyday here is an experience.

The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. While I'm not a big comic fan, they have a great selection of collectible games and figurines. He took the time to recommend and explain Heroclix to me, which I've never heard of somehow. Don't worry, I won't change my 5-star review after sinking all my money into this new obsession :)

Boom Tube Comics is fantastic. For everyone nostalgic for Kevin's Comics but wants something more family friendly this is the place for you. The owner is very friendly and absolutely knows his stuff. It is a great place to go for every comic need you have! I am glad to have a great comic shop back in town.

Boom Tube Comics is awesome. If you haven't been there yet, get ready for a breath of fresh air when you get inside. The owner really cares about his customers and products, not just out to make a quick buck. My first time there I knew it would be my comic shop for a long time to come. Best comic shop in the area by far. Keep doing what you are doing and keep growing!

Great place to buy comic books, paperbacks, shirts, statues and memorabilia. Very clean, organized and spacious. The owners, Dan Mercurio and his wife Karen, are always welcoming and caring, and will try to help out any way they can to help you find what you need. I have been going there for over a year and by far has been the best experience I've had at a local store. Also, customers are friendly and will help you if you're looking for recommendations. Nice comic book community that I'm greatful to be a part of. Very highly recommended.

Nice sized selection in a cozy little shop, still brand spanking new and organized. The people running this place are amazing and the vibes are so welcoming! Such a shame I don't live closer but absolutely won't mind driving out of my way for the customer service.

Top notch book selection and customer service! The pull list subscription options, all which include bags and boards for your books is very nice and I wish was a standard practice at all comic book shops! Dan is the comic book man! An immediate friend to all customers. He knows his stuff and never scoffs at my lack of knowledge. Always gives me great suggestions and points me in the right direction. His family helps run the place and are equally friendly. Clean, well run and great selection. A must visit!

A fantastic shop. Great variety of new books. Well organized, helpful and customer focused owner. Accommodating, willing to help answer a question about a series or book, or even order so thing not carried in or sold out at the store.

Whether you are new or a veteran to comics, this is the place to go. Hands down, without question, the best and only LCS to go to.

Had a GREAT experience at Boom Tube comics. My daughter want to start reading My Little Pony comics and I decided to bring her to her 1st comic book store to pick some out. Luckily for me that store was closer to home than I thought. Not too far from 84 and right off the Meriden Waterbury Turnpike in Milldale. We checked out Boom Tube on our way home from Mothers Day brunch. As one person mentioned in an earlier review, Boom Tube leaves out older issues of in production comics so that you have more of an opportunity to pick up issues you may have missed. This will be very beneficial to me if my daughter continues reading comics as we dont get the chance to make it out as soon as a new issue is released. The owner was VERY personable and immediately looked to assist us with our experience. He even started up a conversation about the latest MLP releases. He also recommended which ones we should get including the team up of Transformers and My Little Pony (Got to love Hasbro). We will back again to buy more comics and it may become a regular place for us too. The 8 comics that we got will give us a good start! Thanks BOOM Tube!
