Great variety of items.

Good variety of items available, especially for a relatively small shop. The smaller size doesn't affect their quality or limit the choices of what to buy. It just makes it quicker and easier to stop and get what you need without spending a lot of time. You also won't spend a lot of money, cause their prices are more than competitive, they are actually lower on many items than the large very high volume "megastores". Their employees are great too, at least at all the Dollar General stores I have shopped in. Very helpful if you have questions, friendly and polite.

Very nice it's new it's clean there's not stuff all over floor . We're going to get potting soil and I come out with $50 more and that's not counting the potting soil.

my experience at the Newton dollar General has been increasingly terrible. They are constantly ripping me off by not giving the sale price to digital coupons not working with there is nothing they can do about it. the assistant manager named Vince is nothing but rude telling us that the store will be closing in a half hour, then counting down from there. I am aware of the time when I walk in. one week they failed to give me the $10 change due me, rushing me out the door. before I realized I didn't get it. when I went back Vince said had to take it up with t g e manager of which I could never catch in store! Tonight I was counting up the change part of my transaction and Vince said "ahh come on already" and grabbed the change like a rude jerk. I've been in other dollar generals and been treated just fin. I will no longer shop in my hometowns DG store

Are lots of items to choose from anywhere from Soup To Nuts clothing to diapers to make up to knick knacks 2 laundry items cigarettes alcohol lots of food items and snacks and toiletries jewelry household items batteries of all kinds. There is a plethora of items in the store to choose from and buy

I like going there the people are very nice and friendlyand will stop doing and help you .There's are to men that has help me more wish I had there name's I go to Grinnell Dollar General..
