Great quiet place to stay! The room was clean. The owner Ali, is very nice! The hotel is 30 minutes from Des Moines, but an easy drive. I will stay here again

Visited the hotel to celebrate post graduation. The decor and ambiance was lovely and it has good views of surrounding areas. Food was lovely. The staff there was very kind and understanding. They were always willing to help us with anything we needed! We loved the cleanliness of the hotel, as well as all the amenities they provided, including a delicious breakfast every morning. The stay was great, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have stayed here twice in last 2 weeks and I must say that my money didn't wasted. A nice place to stay when you are in long travel, very near to I-80. Neat and clean rooms. Well mannered and courteous front desk staff. Really appreciate the place

I decided to come back and stay because of my previous experience. Both the manager and his wife were very courteous. I stayed in room 117 and it was very clean and spacious. Again I can’t get over the bed. Also good water pressure! That’s rare for me.

Very nice place, visited a week before. Neat and clean rooms easily accessible place for people on long journey to have a comfy stay over. Curtious front desk staff.

I visited Colfax Inn for 3 Night Stay and i must say that it was fantastic. One of the best Hotels in town. The Room Service was truly exquisite, the housekeeping up to the expected standard and the rooms themselves were comfortable. The receptionists were professional, courteous and helpful. Overall it was extremely comfortable and there can be no doubt that i will visit again whenever i can.

New Friendly Staff, great speed on turning the hotel around from what it used to be and how it was ran. New owners definitely was a good call. Clean rooms, great breakfast. This place hasn’t been this full nor had the business it’s currently getting during the turn around and restoration of the place since 4-5 years ago. Definitely recommend for cheap rates, pet friendly, no deposits needed for cash, and easy to access off exit 155 with McDonald’s right across and truck stop attached, as well a subway next door.

I picked this restaurant with my wife to mark our 20th anniversary. I did not let me down. From their outdoor dining area, there are stunning vistas. Vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives. A complimentary surprise glass of champagne to add some unique touches to the occasion!

Easy access off interstate. Gentlemen at desk were polite. Rooms were much better than expected! Breakfast was cereal, toast, and bagels, but no complaints as it is a free breakfast. Had a very pleasant stay.

I read several terrible reviews for this hotel, and they almost put me off of giving it a shot. I'm glad that I didn't. Let me start by saying that the staff were very accommodating. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and not too far way from Des Moines. The bottom line is, if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, simple, and affordable stay, so if you're driving through area give them a try.

Nice big room. Service Dog friendly. Fully appointed with big flat screen, desk, microwave, fridge, hair dryer. Super nice owners. Quiet, well kept, clean. Great value. We will stop here again.

Was a late arrival at 5am and asked for late checkout at 2pm. Asked if they would only charge me for one night and politely obliged with no argument and did not make me call the manager to ask.

Recommend it for short stays if you want to stay and go without the city traffic and your on the road.

We are driving through and stopped in for the night. Great rates, very seem less check in, friendly staff, and very clean and comfortable room! Highly recommend for a quick sleep before hitting the road again.

Really nice hidden gem of a place. Butler in lobby all the time. Pro American. Clean room and clean bathroom. Showing it's age with a few unmet maintenance items but only cosmetic. Sheila works very hard to run a nice business. Checked is in at one am and out at 9 the next morning.
