KWIK STAR #299

I've enjoyed Kwik Star for the better part of 10 years. I remember shopping at their locations in Rochester, MN frequently during an internship spent in the area. I still enjoy shopping at the relatively newer locations, including this store off 53rd street in Bettendorf.

On this particular trip, I only wanted a quick later night snack prior to returning home. I selected a bag of cheddar flavored Chex mix and a cherry flavored Coke Zero. Both were easy to locate and select.

To this point, one of the things I think Kwik Star does really well is their store layout. It's fairly clear where everything is right when you walk through the entrance. Baked goods and coffee are in one direction, beer and alcoholic libations are in another, and grocery and hot case items are front and center. It definitely works well.

After I got my Chex mix and soda, I was able to pay quickly. This is mostly due to the competence of the cashier, who was friendly and efficient.

I hope Kwik Star sticks around for a while. I enjoy this location and their others in the area. Thanks for being a great quick stop for gas and food in Bettendorf!

Cashier was very friendly and cheerful, especially for 5:30 am. Huge store with big selections of all kinds of things. Restrooms were clean

Friendly atmosphere. They sell some of the best tasting fried chicken I ever had at very reasonable prices. So glad they are in my neighborhood.

Same as any other Kwik Star. I come from WI where there are Kwik Trips everywhere. The hotel I stayed at was 2 miles from this store and I probably passed 8 other gas stations but chose this one because I like Kwik Trip/Kwik Star stores and prefer to stop there whenever possible. Employees here were quick, efficient, and friendly. Store was clean. Did not let me down.

Not only a gas station, convenience store...but the best car wash in town!! Two thumb's up! ! Definitely a BIG FAT 10!!!!

Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. Even though they are very busy they seem to get you through check out quickly.
