Went back today, courteous people especially Stanley, had a lot of patience with my wife and that ain't easy, picking up my moulding tomorrow.

Expert service and advice accurately describes my experience at Dykes Lumber in Hawthorne. The gentleman who helped me today went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I was looking for. This store has everything for the professional contractor to the novice woodworker like me. I will definitely make this my go to store

Dykes is so far above big box/ Home Depot or Lowes you will not believe it until you go there. The quality of the lumber is 10 times the others. The knowledge of the staff 100 time. Xoxo Dykes

Store Manager John S, and associate Sal B are great guys. They go above and beyond for the client. We had a hiccup with an order, but no time was wasted and everything was worked out. Highly recommended, excellent service & quality material.

Suzanne in the kitchen / bath department is the best person I've ever worked with ordering a kitchen or bath. She knows her product lines and has a keen eye for design. I wont go anywhere else now that I've found her. Been to the big box home improvement stores and some local kitchen and bath retailers. I havent dealt with anyone nearly as knowledgeable and competent. Thank you!!!

I Needed a short piece of molding, counter man went out to warehouse and got exactly what I needed. Great price, great service, in and out of store in under 5 minutes. Will return for my carpentry needs.

This place is amazing. Frank Rappa took my order for a very, very custom french door and spent something like 45 min with me drawing diagrams, helping me work out the hardware mechanics with Sal. Frank spent hours on the phone with the manufacturer to get it right. He sent the door back to the manufacturer at least once because they had made it wrong and he caught it before they even tried to deliver it to me. He also helped me get someone to look at my windows later when we had a Andersson window problem. Frank’s the man.

We got excellent service by Stan who was very helpful and knowledgeable and they had a wide variety of options for us to select from of crown mouldings
