Frenchy's South Beach Cafe

Amazing!!!! Staff is wonderful, William in Valet was great and so informative. Pool is heated and has the most breathtaking views of the ocean at sunset. The room is spacious, clean, well its prefect. The food is great. Being a Diamond member I have stayed in a lot of different Hilton Hotels. This is by far one of the best Hilton hotels I have stayed at.

Awesome location and view. Very good prices compared to most of Clearwater. Service at the bar was great. The gator bites and Cuban egg rolls were both delicious. 30 second walk to the beach.

We had the pretzel, salad, coconut shrimp, grouper sandwich, and fries. All of the food was great. It was Saturday night during spring break and packed. We were still seated quickly and the food came out rather quickly. We also tried two drinks, the dirty banana and Miami Vice. The Miami Vice drink was great. Definitely recommend.

Located right across the street from the beach. After looking at a few places, we thought Frenchys looked the best. We planned on sitting outside, but there was some sort of smell coming from local construction, I believe. We ended up sitting indoors, just a note, the seats were a bit tough on the bum, though! We were waited on by the bartender who was great and pretty attentive until it picked up, no fault of his own. The food was good. Got an order of the stone crab claws, which were tasty. Both my son and I got their World Famous Grouper sandwich, Blackened. The Grouper was fantastic! The bun was a little wheaty for me, though. The daughter really liked her wings and wife, her drinks and tacos. This is also where she started her Frenchys Cocktail Challege and earned her Frencys shirt! Great place and food!

Great place can't go wrong.. Great service, drinks, food. She crab soup is unbelievable!!!! The grouper sandwich is a must too! Get both and it'll make your vacation! Drinks are fun and delicious.. And there's a free shirt to get too!

Awesome experience and our first time to Frenchy’s, but not our last. With multiple locations, this one is located just off of Clearwater beach - an awesome location just across the street from the beach on the popular strip. The parking is our only complaint, but everyone on Clearwater has to search for and pay for parking. There is no parking lot at this location - only very limited paid street parking that lines the street along the restaurants and shops out front.

Our order: We ordered the Crab Fries with garlic butter, old bay seasoning, aioli and topped with fresh snow crab… absolutely do not miss this! It’s very rich and decadent so we split the small order for just under $8.00. I ordered the clam strip basket with lemon wedges, tartar and cocktail sauce. My husband ordered the seafood basket - fries, grouper nuggets, fried shrimp and fried clams which he enjoyed. We also loved the house coleslaw and roasted corn on the cob!

It’s definitely a place we’ll be frequenting as each location has different specialty drinks and menu items. Go early or later because it gets super busy and parking is extremely limited. This location has outdoor seating as well as a small indoor seating area with a bar. We sat inside because it was colder which was a good choice because it rained so check the weather before deciding where to sit and eat some crab fries for me!

Caleb was our great waiter and recommended the grouper sandwich for lunch. My wife had the spicy version and I had the buffalo sauce version. Both were great. We declined the coleslaw. The chips were nothing to write home about. But the grouper was breaded and fried! Excellent!!!

The only downside was all the construction going on next door with lots of noise. In the evenings it will stop so dinner is a better time to eat.

Wifey had the veggie burger, which was actually one the better veggie burgers I've tasted. I had the stone crab claws. Can't complain about anything we ate. Will be going back to try the grouper sandy.

Every trip to CWB is not complete until eating at Frenchy’s. The garlic crab fries are unbelievable and a MUST. The staff and atmosphere is relaxed and fun. The Cuban sandwich is heavenly. Love this place.

We had a wonderful beach side lunch. Our server was wonderful. She gave us some great local spots to try. Had 2 huge grouper sandwiches which were fried perfection. Don’t forget the she crab soup

We didn't happen-by this place; we saw the reviews and weren't disappointed. Food was delicious, prices reasonable, and atmosphere was pleasant.

Our waiter was so nice and attentive. Our group of four loved everything they ordered. Will stop in again. Loved my coconut shrimp!

Amazing food! For a party of 9 and various age ranges, they truly accommodated all flavors and desires. I personally had the fish tacos and Mexican corn which was all truly tasty!

Excellent food, service,and atmosphere. Truly enjoyable on all fronts. The sunset just topped everything for dinner. Will be going back!

Delicious drinks, great Stone crab claw. Crab fries a bit to salty, so order with light salt.

From the Maryland Crab Cake to the Sesame Tuna, every dish was beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. The Caesar Salad was fresh and the dressing was the perfect balance of tangy and creamy. But the true star of the show was the Frenchy's She Crab Soup, which was hands down the best I've ever had. The consistency was thick and creamy, and the flavors were rich and indulgent.

Every dish was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. You won't be disappointed!

Loved this place. Super Low key, but with great staff and excellent food. They are linked to fishing boats as a result all fish based menu items were super fresh. The coconut shrimp tacos and grouper sandwich were excellent. Don't miss out on the local hot sauces, they can be bought for takeaway too. Good selection of local craft and mainstream beers

Great place to get a bunch of appetizers and drinks to look at the ocean or watch a game. Fish was fresh and cooked well. You don’t expect much from a right of the beach restaurant, but Frenchy’s delivered. Service was also great. Grouper Eggrolls we’re the only think I would not get again. Everything else was awesome. There is something on the menu for everyone!

First time at this particular Frenchys. Loved the atmosphere loved the service. The food was great. Fresh and delicious Love the staff … warm and friendly.
