Crabby's Bar & Grill Clearwater

This place has a typical beachfront menu with everything you’re looking for, however, there’s a few special items that made it 5 stars to me. For example, the bairdi crab. If you’ve never had anything other than snow crab, I’m begging you to try these because the meat has only the sweetness without the sodium overload. We also got the oysters, but they were all gone before I got a picture.

Since we went in November, I found it nice that the outdoor seating area had heaters so we could still be within eyesight of the beach without freezing.

Overall, all of the food we had was well seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Blackened Grouper with rice and black beans! Lemon and tartar sauce. OH MY!!!!! Too good. Loved it ! Lots to choose from. You won’t be disappointed. My waiter Basel was wonderful too. Thanks for making my evening and meal so special. I’ll be back one day when in FA.

Fabio was truly exceptional, as was Tracy. Facing a long day, we were exhausted and indecisive about dinner. Fabio stepped in with insightful recommendations, guiding us to a delightful culinary experience. The food was outstanding, surpassing our expectations. Tracy also made several thoughtful visits to our table, ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was well taken care of. The ambiance on the 2nd level was enchanting, complemented by a stunning view that added to the magic of our evening. Their attentive service and the inviting atmosphere made our dining experience unforgettable.

This is our go-to place to eat when visiting Clearwater Beach, FL, while we are on the beach ⛱ . Food is good, atmosphere is fun and you can see the beach if you dine upstairs in the tiki bar area! Fun to watch beautiful sunsets too!

We really enjoyed our dinner. Family friendly for our 3 year old. The popcorn shrimp and "Lobstah Roll" were amazing. The rum bucket was great and enough for 2 to share. We're definitely coming back for the crab.

Starving after basking under the Clearwater sun, we stumbled upon Crabby's Bar & Grill like a treasure chest washed ashore. Despite the bustling crowd, they welcomed us with open arms (and empty stomachs!).

Now, let's talk sustenance. My Doserita Margarita, a concoction of Dos Equis and frosty joy, arrived exactly as ordered – less ice, more paradise. The Coconut Shrimp appetizer lived up to its name, each bite a sweet and savory tango between crispy batter, juicy shrimp, and that dreamy Pina Colada sauce.

But the main event stole the show. My Crab Cake Sandwich was a revelation – a symphony of lump crab meat, perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. It may have been the best I've ever encountered, a true crustacean champion. My partner's Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos were a fiesta in every bite, the crunchy exterior yielding to perfectly cooked, juicy shrimp bathed in a tangy, spicy sauce.

From start to finish, Crabby's delivered a seafood nirvana. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, paired with attentive service and a vibrant atmosphere. It was the perfect post-beach pit stop, a delicious exclamation point on our Clearwater adventure.

If you're seeking a stellar seaside feast, I wholeheartedly recommend Crabby's Bar & Grill. Be prepared for a lively crowd, but trust me, the food is worth the wait. Just grab a Doserita, dig into those Coconut Shrimp, and relish the memory of a perfect Clearwater day perfectly capped by a Crabbastic meal!

Great selection of food with decent prices. Huge portions so share if you can- we wasted a lot of food. Service was very good and atmosphere inviting. Avocado egg rolls are DELICIOUS!!!! My coconut shrimp were large and very good. My husband got the grouper tacos and really liked them. Gets very busy so try to eat at off times but they do have a LOT of seating areas.

The location is perfect on Clearwater Beach and easy access from many condos, apartments, and hotels. The atmosphere is great and the staff are so pleasant and helpful. Lauren was amazing and constantly checked on us. She told us about some of her favorites and even brought a sauce she loved to eat with the homemade chips. It was excellent. The manager also checked on us to make sure everything was satisfactory. The effort that was put forth to make sure our experience was a good one was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. You won't be sorry.

Definitely recommended. I took my family here for vacation and ate at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly. The service was awesome. The food and drink were delicious. The wait can be long and the restaurant was busy, but the food and service were not cut any corner. We ate here 3 times and food and service are the same.

Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here! Very nice staff and patient. The bathrooms were super warm which was wonderful because we went on a very cold and windy night. The pretzel and fried chicken tacos were good. I also enjoyed the twisted lemonade, homemade chips, and the strawberry lemonade mojito. My husband liked the dirty banana. I don’t eat shellfish so I can’t comment on much but what I did have I enjoyed. Staff handled a large party very well!

I came with my boyfriend and my mother who is handicap. There was a storm and winds were high. The staff sat us by the heaters and pulled the wind guards down so my mom was comfortable. And the oysters were fantastic!!! My bf had the gator bites. Different but delicious. Great vibe. Live music was amazing. Just amazing.

What a great place to watch the parrots fly from 🌴 to 🌴 while the ocean waves ripple in. Atmosphere is awesome, and the seafood was delish! Peel and eat shrimp were the tenderest I have had in years - so fresh! Loved the fried gator 🐊, crab cake sandwich and Caesar salad, too. A very cool ocean front place for lunch!

We had balcony seating for the sunset overlooking the beach. It. Was. Amazing. We had crab for dinner and key lime pie for dessert. The food was so good and our server was outstanding.

Came to clear water to just to get away and glad I did, I lucked out and came across this awesome spot, got greeted right away, sat at bar, live music was awesome, Jared was our bar tender between his and his trainie Gisele we waited for nothing they were on top of there game. The place was soon clean!! I had Rockefeller oysters, fried gator and conch fritter for appetizers, quickly followed by baked scallops with signature cheese grits and broccoli, with a blue berry cheese cake for dessert!!! I'm so glad I decided to sit at the Jared and Gisele were very warm.and welcoming, in the mits of making drinks sweeping floors and keeping the bar clean it was awesome to have two cool people to converse with, Jared remembered when you get an extra baseball ticket I'm take it lol. Thanks for everything guys I'll be back.

After walking the beach, we noticed Crabby's and stopped in for a bite to eat.
We had coconut shrimp apps & crabcakes.
Steak & grilled shrimp plus salad.
The food was great!
We loved the live music and dining outside to enjoy the evening glow.

We stopped here for apps and drinks and I must say everything was pretty tasty. The salad was fresh. Loved the gator bites! The service was awesome. We had 9 people and Meme took great care of us. We sat outside. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived. If you’re looking for a quick bite, I would definitely recommend Crabby’s.

First off the view to the beach during the day is much better than at night. The parking is not the best but what can one expect being that it is beachside. The ambiance of the location is nice and calm and not too rowdy with loud music.

The outside has tables and umbrellas for shade or as in our case, rain. There is cornhole games outside to kill some time while you wait on food and drinks.

At the entry a greeter was ready to seat you and was very polite and professional. Even when we left she asked how was everything and was very kind.

Our server Keirsten was very polite and professional and even recommended some plates since it was our first time.

The food was great and the taste was superb, the portions were on par with the price and wow those shrimps were large.

Overall the staff was great everyone greeted you even the bus men picking up the tables. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
