Frenchy's Outpost Bar and Grill

My girls and I had a wonderful lunch today! Started with a cup of she crab - it was very thick and decadent. Then, I had the grouper sandwich - AWESOME! I ordered the small sandwich, but the Grouper filet was a very generous cut. It was fried to perfection and steaming hot! Perfection! Both girls loved the pretzel shaped like a fish bone and the Mac and cheese (Kraft I believe). We ordered a small fries for them to share - again nice, hot, right off the fryer. Did I mention Fishers Fire? Very good hot sauce went well with the sandwich! Of course they have some great FL brews on tap - I had a Reef Donkey. To top the whole thing off we splurged and ordered 1 pound of stone crab to take home YUM! We will be back! Thank you!

Every time we're in the area, Frenchy's is a must stop. We prefer to sit at the outdoor bar. Mike, the bartender/server is top in his profession. I ordered the grouper fish sandwich which was delicious and generously sized even though I ordered the smaller portion. The coleslaw is my favorite. It's not dripping in mayo. And...$4 16oz beers!? Yes please : )

Excellent seafood restaurant. The service is excellent, and the prices are very good. The seafood potpie is flavorful, and the crust is flaky. The corn on the cob is cooked just right. The mixed vegetables were on the lukewarm side, but still excellent.

Lovely seafood restaurant. Total beach vibe with an indoor/outdoor patio. I ordered the California chicken sandwich, the husband ordered the “world famous” grouper sandwich and we shared an appetizer of calamari which comes with both a marinara sauce and honey mustard sauce. The only downside is that they are not dog-friendly.

Food was delicious. We were told everything is made fresh and the dessert is made from scratch...not store bought or frozen. Service was outstanding. Zach was a wealth of knowledge. We loved it so much, we went 3 different times during our 2 day stay. Free refills on fountain drinks, military discount given.

Warm, family friendly atmosphere. We loved the pretzel and the burger was nicely chargrilled. Very nice spot to grab a bite and relax in a nice atmosphere. Grouper sandwich was great too.

We went to this place a few years ago during Tom Brady's first year with the Bucs all the way from Virginia. The food was delicious and amazing. Love the Crab Soup, the Stuffed Flounder Meal; simply great!!! Our friend, Taylor, was awesome, making us feel like home. This place is blessed to have her as part of the Frenchy's Team, as well as her other colleagues that assisted with our dining experience. The prices were amazing for fresh seafood. I totally recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped by after a day at the beach . I ordered Dirty banana n my friend ordered outpost Bloody Mary . Sasha was our server. Great job to the entire team . Food was fantastic, prices were good , drinks were delicious . Totally recommend if in the area .

Delicious food. The crab Rangoon flatbread was outstanding, I hope they add it to the regular menu! We went on a Tuesday around 6:30 and we’re seated right away.

Please note the do NOT allow "call ahead" reservations. 9 out of 10, you will wait for a table but it's worth it. Parking can be a nightmare. Be patient. Great to sit outside on a cooler evening. Food was delish, shecrab fries are out of this world. Cocktails were on point.

This was SUCH. A good spot for right down the beach. Reasonably seasoned and the freshness of the food quality really showed and came through in the dishes. Well worth the price! Service was fantastic, despite being nearly a full house by 4:00pm the kitchen was slamming out orders and our server amber T was on TOP of it. 100/10 would recommend. Will be back on our next trip to FL

My 1st visit and the service was great, McKenna our waitress was on point, food was fresh, hot & tasty! I can't wait to come back!

I love this place. It’s nicely located on the Dunedin Causeway. It’s a perfect place to eat lunch or dinner outside. They have amazing food and wait staff is always good. I recommend the jerk chicken. Some nights they have live music. It’s always a fun time. They also have an indoor and outdoor bar.

A sign of a good franchise is you can go to any and get your favorite and it taste the same! For over 40yrs Frenchy's has proven to be the 'go to benchmark place' for seafood!

I had the special, sausage and shrimp in cheese sauce over linguine!! Amazing!! The red peppers tasted like they just picked them from the garden! Highly recommend when in the area, we spent the day at Honeymoon State Park!

Food was absolutely delicious. Everyone devoured their meals. I really enjoyed my blackened mahi mahi sandwich and fries. They do up charge 0.99 for the fries and it’s totally worth the upgrade.
Tartar sauce is delicious with the grouper nuggets!
Just know if you’re going the weekend prepare to wait up to an hour for seating they are always packed (for a good reason)!

Lunch at Frenchys- it's a shrimp day! I "paired" it with a Yuengling. The shrimp entree is coming next! (This was the peel and eat shrimp.) I had the Fried Shrimp and fries for my entree. Excellent lunch. I would recommend stopping by.

Yum yum yum! Frenchy's Outpost is THE place to eat lunch or dinner at in Dunedin, Florida. Frenchys is a very well-known chain of restaurants in Florida to enjoy unbelievably delicious seafood. Frenchy's Outpost has a fun & vibrant patio dining area with tables that can fit large families. Top plate recommendations: Shrimp & Scallop platter, Calamari appetizer, and the Seafood Pot Pie.
The service was amazing and the food came out very quick. The staff made sure that our waters were full and the tables were cleaned as appetizers and dinner plates were finished. Perfect place to bring the whole family for dinner or just on a cute date!

Food was especially good. Much better than I would have expected. Since it said it was a bar and grill we expected pub food. But the food was much better than that ordinary type fare. Plus the prices were very reasonable.
