Shephard's Beach Resort

What an incredible place to have a wedding! Even with an atypical monsoon going on, they still managed to exceed our expectations. The ceremony was inside, but still better than we could have ever dreamed it would be. We were able to have an entire weekend of epic events with our closest friends and it was all thanks to the wonderful staff. So many thanks to Leah, Hayley, Dana, Morgan and Kelsey for making our wedding exceptional. On top of that, we were treated like royalty by Joanna, Ashton and Nicholas throughout the resort. The entire staff was attentive and thoughtful and for that we are truly grateful. Thank you Shephard’s Beach Resort for making our rainy wedding day, the most unforgettable, amazing day of our lives!!!

Amazing and beautiful beachside resort at Clearwater Beach! The staff from start to finish, from check in to valet and servers and bartenders were so friendly and provided great customer service.
My husband and I went for our honeymoon and it matched my expectations! I loved being a little more south than the bustling Pier 60 area…it was more chill being a little more secluded.
The live band or musician each day was so fun especially as the sunset! We wanna come back on a weekend to go to the night club! The food and drinks were delicious, and I loved the shrimp tacos and frozen cocktails! We plan to be back in the future, hopefully!

We had our wedding there on February 18th, 2024. Leah, Hayley, Dana, Morgan, and Kelsey helped with our wedding. The staff was epic and extremely accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing, which we enjoyed as did ALL of our guests! The house dj Brandon was also amazing in conducting the entire wedding and reception. I'd like to thank everyone involved for the most unforgettable experience. It was most definitely the best wedding and reception/celebration I've ever been to and even better it was my own!

Stayed here before and coming back in May - this place is wonderful! Everyone is super helpful - especially Veronica at the front desk - she is always so helpful and very friendly!!! I had to make a few adjustments with our reservation and she was so pleasant and helpful and extremely patient with the changes! I would also like to give a shoutout to Toni who also has always been super helpful in the past! You will not regret staying the this hotel! Looking forward to staying there again in May! :-)

Second year in a row staying at Shepherd’s. Having a really hard time, comprehending how anyone could possibly complain about this place. It is absolutely gorgeous. Extremely clean and well put together..with many maintenance workers power washing the entire outside every morning before anyone wakes up.. smoothing over the sand and a very capable and kind cleaning staff. Wild dolphins all over the place. Awesome happy people everywhere. Great food/ drinks, and great shopping in walking distance. No way anyone could ever complain about this place if they’re in their right mind!

Toni at the front desk is very professional and helpful. The resort is always a good time. They have some construction going on right now, not a big issue, but I would recommend they set up a coffee or grab n go station near the lobby for guests.

It’s a shame that I can’t give this place a million likes and stars. I just absolutely love staying here. The cleanliness, hospitality and service are amazing not to mention delicious food and drinks. Special shout out to bartender Todd who’s incredible at what he does. Can’t wait to come back!!

Everything was awesome. I'm just a little confused on our room description. I reserved a queen studio room, but it had to double beds. Other than that the staff was fantastic, drinks and food delivered to you on the beach, live music was wonderful and the view is so relaxing.

Toni was amazing!! We will return and recommend this resort because of Toni's hospitality. All of our needs and wants were taken care for no problem 😊 The resort is beautifully maintained !! Love the nightlife and entertainment. Our room was perfect and had a great night's sleep on the comfortable bed.

My wife and I just had the pleasure of getting married here! Everything was perfect and the sunset suite is a must! Leah, our wedding coordinator, was amazing and if you’d like a seamless transition from ceremony to reception for your beach wedding, Shephards is the place to go! 5/5

Had a great time with some friends out there, Jamie was very helpful at the jet ski rental and took good care of us!!! Not to mention, she is a beautiful young lady and has a great personality!!! Love those eyes girl!!!😁

Fun place to celebrate a wedding or special event...or just a fun place to get away.
Toni, the Front Desk Hostess, was simply the best. VERY helpful and welcoming.
The music was fantastic; the view from the Gulf Side room was spectacular.

Just need full length mirrors in the rooms.

I enjoy the atmosphere of Shephards; usually before my DJ gigs inside the fancy "Wave Nightclub" - I'll head out to the Tiki Deck to watch the band perform --- I'm never disappointed, because I know Shephards only brings in the best of the best with their bands - I'm always impressed... The staff always treats my guest and me nicely... What I really enjoy is... security takes care of the disorderly without many people even noticing; which keeps the vibe positive. :)

Thank you guys for making our wedding day on 11/10 so special and memorable, Leah, I love ya girl. You are awesome!! Just wanna give a shoutout to the front desk, valet, the bartenders, the housekeepers, the chefs and of course the wonderful banquet staff that worked our wedding. Absolutely amazing. Valet parking for all guests. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Beautifully designed. Very comfortable. Everything was top Tier and priced reasonably with all of the amenities.

Everything you need is onsite or within walking distance.

Highly recommended. Great for families, singles and couples.

Great location. Loved the gulf front room overlooking the pool and Tiki Stage. Great price on rooms when you consider what it costs at the other big hotel in the area. Great entertainment daily.

We loved the atmosphere at Shepard’s! On a Saturday night we had so much fun. Drinks and bartenders were great. A live band was playing with a Dj filling in between sets. Absolutely would come back here again!

Shephard's was a great place to stay! The only problem we had was our shower drain not draining well and we notified the front desk about the problem, maintenance had fixed the problem in under twenty minutes from when they were notified! Tommy and Allie that work at the tiki bar were amazing bartenders and made our experience so much more wonderful. Shephard's beach resort is definitely the best place to stay in clearwater beach!

Toni at the front desk made my entire stay with her smile and attentiveness. I had the best Suite in the house. A corner unit facing the bay. It was just simply magical watching the sunset.

I love this place we went for the first time this weekend. First off Toni checked us in early so we could use the pool and relax and that was so sweet. I am super picky on cleanliness and the room was so clean. Huge room, comfortable bed, pool was warm and huge, hot tub,bar, music, private beach, jet ski and golf cart rentals. Resturant there and in walking distance. Holly crepes 3 min walk was so good also. We will be back for sure. The place has it all for couples, wedding parties, get togethers its all there. Just go and relax. So glad we found the place and stayed.
