Matt and his team where great, they took the time to diagnose an issue another shop could not figure out. The communication and repair was done in a timely manner, and I felt the price was very fair. Will definitely return to LOL Transmission my future service needs.

Matt has been fantastic since I met him! He’s such an honest guy and really takes the time to look at your car and figure out the issues with it. He had quality work and uses quality parts so I am always assured his work is top notch. I will continue to go to him while I reside in the Tampa Bay Area!

Matt is the best mechanic we ever had. Completely honest & straightforward, always explained everything clearly. Plus he’s way cheaper than the dealer. He’d even tell us when stuff did not really need to be done to save us money.

We’ve been taking our vehicles to Matt for more than 10 years, after a friend recommended him to us. He is truly a master mechanic and fair beyond reason. You really find out about how customer oriented a business is when something doesn’t go as expected, or in my case, you have to take something back for follow up. On this rare occasion (once in ten years) when something required a follow up, he owned it and went the extra mile, and then some to get the vehicle right. Matt treats his customers like good friends. As such, our grown children now take their vehicles to him. I guess what I’m really trying to say is that Matt’s a great mechanic, but an even better person. Keep up the great work!!

My transmission had went out in my 2010 Ford F-150 and was in need of a new one. A good friend of mine referred me to Land O Lakes Transmission. I called up the store and spoke with Matt, who was polite, professional, and knowledgeable! Matt gave me a fair quote and was able to get me on the schedule. I can’t saw enough good things about the service I was provided by Matt the owner. A friend recommended Matt to me after telling him of the outrageous price the dealer wanted to tune up my 2014 Tahoe. Matt explained in detail everything he needed to do and came in way under the price of the dealer and my Tahoe runs like new again!!! My days of going to the dealer for service are done!

If your are looking for a professional and above all else honest mechanic look no further than Matt. A few days ago, I had trouble keeping my car in gear. I went looking to get it fixed. I was expecting a huge repair. Thank goodness I went to Land O Lakes Transmission & Total Car Car. Not only did I not get a huge bill, but the issue turned out to be minor and I was on my way in minutes. I’m convinced if I went anywhere else, I would have been without the car for days and a bill in the hundreds of dollar. I have no pause to use them again in the future.

Matt runs a great shop. Was referred to him by a family member because of his honesty and integrity. I took my car in recently and they were kind enough to look it over and just tell me the truth that although they COULD easily do the repair, they felt it should be handled at the dealer because it was in my best interest. They try to repair first before just replacing things. I appreciate that old school craftsman's approach. He's earned my repeat business.
