Mandarin Restaurant

For our family birthday party, we catered thru this take out restaurant. Since the Birthday person vegetarian, we ordered 12 dishes for the party! Everything was legit and tasted great to the point. Check out the photos and you will see!

I drive from College Park to get takeout from here. That's how good this place is! There are a couple of Chinese takeout places near me, but they aren't that good and not to mention too expensive for the quality. Everything I've ordered from here was delicious. Reminds me of the takeout places in New York city (hard to beat NYC). The egg drop soup is absolutely superb ✨ and the best I've had! I love the shrimp egg rolls, fried rice, and Singaporean noodles. You can't beat the prices here. I wouldn't even be mad paying more here, lol. Highly recommend.

Best Chinese in the MD part of the DMV for sure. Chicken and broccoli is always delicious—not matter if it’s delivered or just picked up by me. Can’t recommend them enough

Overall experience was great. Just moved to Silver Spring, so this will be my go-to that’s walking distance from home.

Just moved to the area and have been missing my old favourite family owned Chinese takeaway spot, and decided to branch out. This is definitely gunna be my new spot. Everything tastes so fresh and the oil is clean for the fried food. There’s fresh scallions in the crab rangoon, and great portions for a great price, including a fresh orange slice in our orange chicken. I forgot that I’m living close to DC again and they serve the drinks in the large soup containers around here, and a win is a win is a win because not only did we unexpectedly get a free one because we bought over 30$ of food, but I’m also missing the ones I saved and reused from my old spot. Customer service is also 5 stars when I called about a mixup. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Did takeout from this restaurant. Got black bean chicken, seseme chicken, and chicken nuggets with fries. All were prepared perfect and tasted excellent. Food was ready right on time. Restaurant has limited seating but it appeared takeout was common.

I have lived in China, but I am not too fond of Chinese food. My friend takes me here to make up for a bad experience at a restaurant earlier. Man! This is SO GOOD! It's an ideal mix of American-Chinese and real Chinese that is just irreplicable. While this is a takeout-style restaurant, it does this perfectly. This is the type of Chinese place you see New Yorkers order from in New York 90s movies, the kind of neighborhood spot everyone adores. The price value is also quite literally unbeatable. I mean, 10 bucks for a large canister of amazing soup. Are you kidding me? Under 15 bucks for a large order of General Tso!?!?!

Great job, guys. I have not been thrilled with Chinese takeout in DC, but this was a bravo performance.

I was on Georgia street by complete chance and will probably never be here again but this shid smacks. Food is quality and delicious and the guy up front was very nice and gave me a free water.

Super quick takeout order was ready in ten minutes, and the lunch special was a fantastic deal! I got the fried rice with general tso chicken and both were exactly what I wanted from a Chinese-American takeout joint. Definitely coming back.

Honestly this is my Go-To Carry-out when I am craving chinese food. I place my order for pick-up and it's ready by the time I get to the restaurant. I love ordering the Chicken with broccoli from the lunch menu! It's small but packed with food! I tend to order an extra white rice because small is small lol If that makes any sense! But I definitely recommend plus their wings with mambo sauce on top! *chef's kiss*

Best Take out I've had in the area so far. Their combination rice noodles are perfect every time! I always want to try something different but end up getting the same because it just never tastes as good from any other take out. Would give 10 stars if I could

I just moved to the neighborhood. Ordered delivery for my first night in and it was delicious! It arrived sooner than I anticipated, driver was courteous and masked. I got the vegetarian sesame "chicken", edamame, vegetable fried rice and crab rangoon. (Don't judge! I wanted leftovers) In my last neighborhood there were no good delivery places. I tried a little of everything (the sesame faux-chicken was the best I've had!Will definitely reorder!

Really great lunch special (served 11 AM to 3 PM). We ordered three takeout items: curry shrimp, pepper steak and tofu with mixed vegetable. Each came with fried rice and a spring roll. (The menu offered either plus a can of soda, but they gave us both since we didn't want the soda.) Everything was well-prepared with just the right amount of spicing. The tofu came well-dehydrated in a wonderful, thick soy sauce; this suggests that the tofu was fried very quickly at high temperature with soy sauce. I've never seen tofu, included that which I cook myself, turn out so well. The three meals were served in rigid (not foam) clam-shell containers that could be washed and re-used. Total cost for pickup and before tip was $21.52. Their delivery charge would have been $1.50.

Best 5 fried chicken with mumbo in the city

We recently tried Mandarin Restaurant after several years away, and the quality was much better this time. The eggplant with garlic sauce was so silky and delicious that even the eggplant-haters complimented it. The tofu with veggies had high-quality tofu and high-quality fresh veggies. Whatever they have changed, it's great now!
