Green Eggs Cafe

Something changed at The Chatterbox and it is all for good. New(ish) owners have added The Green Eggs Cafe menu to the existing Chatterbox menu bringing an assortment of great choices for breakfast or lunch.

The crazy-good milkshakes, lots of French toast options, fresh salads, and oh the cheesesteak are fun and tasty. Prices are under 20 bucks for nearly everything and if the sounds like a lot, the portion sizes make each dish worth the price.

We had given up on the ‘old’ Chatterbox and are super happy to see the revived version.

This was delicious! The service was very attentive and nice! Food came out quick. I would go back. My only thing is the amount of food could be a little smaller for the price to be lower on the sweet breakfast menu

The food was exceptionally tasty, both the savory and sweet options.
The portions were very large on everything we saw brought out so come here if you're hungry or okay with having leftovers for later.
They were packed full at 10am on a Sunday, it took 15+ minutes for a waiter to come by with boxes/the check after we finished eating which was the only low mark on the experience. They do have a large number of tables both indoors and outdoors whichever your preference.

Awesome new place for breakfast. It is in Chatterbox restaurant. I ordered French Toast, and it came out looking like a work of art. And it tasted as good as it looked. Service was quick and friendly.

Great food at great prices. They still have the old chatterbox signage. Try the thick cut bacon.

If you are in Ocean City NJ, you should plan to stop at the Green Egg Cafe, The service was good. My kids each got the silver dollar panckaes with a side of bacon. The bacon was out of this world good, pan fried. I got The Kitchen Sink which was: three eggs scrambled with sausage crumbles, gruyere cheese, potatoes, topped with sausage gravy, jumbo biscuit, in a cast iron skillet and my wife got the Breakfast Burrito in a habanero tortilla with eggs, corn, pork chorizo, tex mex cheese, peppers, and onions, topped with pico de gallo, sour cream, and avocado salsa, served with roasted red pepper black bean sauce. It was so much food for us that we all took some back to our place. Just know that it is very expensive. For a family of four we paid $80 including the 20% tip. The only complaint I had was; I don't like green peppers, but love onions.The Kitchen Sink come with peppers and onions so I asked for no peppers and was told that they come together or nothing. It would've been so much better with onion. I still give the food 5 stars and will be back nex year. My advise for you is to go to the Green Egg Cafe for breakfast if you are in OCNJ.

Thick beautiful bacon, an amazing French toast selection, a great drink menu and amazing Benedict! Sooo good! Best breakfast in Ocean City!

Decor is very cute and the service was great! Our waitress came to check on us a couple times and was friendly. The food was delicious and a huge portion. We got the breakfast burrito and kitchen sink for $17. It's not a bad portion to price ratio for a beach town.

Awesome!! Just had the opportunity to eat an early dinner/late lunch. It was so good. I had the loaded grilled cheese with fries. My wife had the mahi mahi tacos with fries. The best grilled cheese I've ever had. I tried a taco and it was excellent. The fries were outstanding. This is a new addition to the Green Egg Cafe family replacing the Chatterbox. For just opening, the service was great. We will be going back to try many of the breakfast/ brunch options. You will not be disappointed. So good!

Brunch at Green Eggs today was wonderful. My wife had eggs her way, I had guacamole pepper eggs benedict with a side of bacon. Both dishes were excellent. Our wait person, Taylor, was attentive, welcoming and helped with our choices. She would be any asset for any restaurant.

Karin, the manager was amazing. She noticed that no one had stopped by at our table shortly after we sat down, she got our drinks and took our order. Karin was professional, extremely knowledge and very engaging. Coming from a restaurant background, Karin, thank you so much for the excellent service. Wonderful experience.

Food is exceptional! Delicious guacamole Eggs Benedict! Huge portion so it justified the price along with the quality of the meal. Great atmosphere.

Wonderful dining experience for me and my friends. We stopped in for breakfast, had an excellent server named Hayle, and were blown away by the food and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend if anyone is down OCNJ 🙂
