PJ's Coffee

A very nice coffee shop with an awesome vibe and atmosphere. The service was great and food was also great too, I ordered the beignets and a hot chai latter and they were phenomenal, I highly recommend them. Will definitely come back again in the future!

So I’ve been to this Coffeehouse in Bowie. When I found out they were in Silver Spring too…AND they have sandwiches now…I GOT there!! Shout out to @brunchwithcee for hopping me!!

Their Dragonfruit Redbull Infusion ($6.50). STAMP!! Fruity, carbonated, a pick me up!!

Their Peppermint Bark Velvet Ice (with crushed peppermint pieces, white chocolate, chocolate syrup, Espresso Dolce coffee, & whipped cream $6.30). STAMP!! Cold, rich, tasty!!

Their Bacon Egg N Cheese Biscuit ($4.99). LIKE THAT!! Your traditional bacon, egg, n cheese biscuit.

Their Cuban (with pulled pork, mustard, ham, pickles, & Swiss on Ciabatta bread $7.99). STAMP!! The fresh bread set this off!! Well done!!

Their Club (with Swiss, & American cheese, Turkey, mayo, bacon $7.99). DELICIOUS. Thick, fresh bread…good.

Their Spinach & Feta Pastry (a flaky pastry with spinach, & feta $4.65). STAMP!! Buttery, creamy, just smooth!!

Their Chocolate Chip Muffin (a chocolate muffin with chocolate chips in it $3.25). STAMP!! A double chocolate moist muffin…YES!!

Their Beignets (a fried donut covered in powdered sugar $5.15). Their beignets ALWAYS hit!! Get these!!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Silver Spring! I've been here a handful of times over the past year, and I always have a good experience. I like the jazzy vibes, and there is almost always enough seating. The nitro cold brew is great, and the granitas are a nice treat, too.

Nice coffee shop compared to Starbucks. I'm here for holiday and saw bad Reviews for the Starbucks nearby. Convenient location if your heading to Metro station. Friendly team as I was a bit jet lagged and slighty different terminology is used in USA for Milk types so they are great explaining the types they had.

Was in town visiting family and was glad to find PJ's Coffee in the area. Upon my first visit, Marjorie greeted me right away and not only provided great service but also recommendations in the DC area. Their dark roast coffee was the perfect pick me up needed for the cold weather and highly recommended this place for anyone looking for amazing coffee served by outstanding staff.

Out checking out new coffee places and this one came across my radar. Parking here was a little weird. I had to go ask where their parking was. It's in the garage beside them but is only like 3 retail spaces. The atmosphere was very relaxed. I got the praline latte. It was decent. I guess the flavor could have been a little stronger. Lemon poppyseed is one of my faves. They have a rewards system where you just need to enter your number at the end of the transaction so that's pretty convenient. I'd go back and try other things.

I loved the Southern Wedding Cake Velvet Ice. The icing on the top was meeting the owner. Tara is so sweet and kindhearted. I will be back real soon.

Workers are very nice and hard working, good food and coffee too! Totally recommend going here! Josue is a great worker!

I stop by sometimes for a latte and they always have new and interesting offerings. I tried the beignets a couple times too and they’re so perfect. A slight crisp on the outside, a soft and pillowy inside, and a generous dusting of powdered sugar outside.

Tables, big chairs, and two booths (some outdoor seating as well). Jazz/New Orleans music playing. People working and light conversation. Big open windows to see the street. Light coffee house food, cold brew, nitro, and every hot coffee. Alternative milks available. Great place to work or hang out. Their Macadamia seasonal drink is amazing.

I found out about PJs while in Bowie. My chapter's sorority usually holds events at this location.
Then my child and I discovered the Silver Spring location which is almost around the corner from us. She loves the frozen chocolate and we both love the spinach and feta croissants. Oh, I don't leave with my beignets!
Staff is friendly and it's never overcrowded.

A wonderful New Orleans coffee shop. Smooth, strong (dark roast) coffee, paired nicely with a delicious beignet. Great morning starter. Staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Need one in my home town.

I’ve been on the hunt for good (I’d have even settle for decent) beignets in the DMV and every place that I’ve tried so far has been TERRIBLE. I don’t know why it’s so hard for places here to get beignets right… but anyway, today changed all that when I decided to try PJs. I got a cafe latte and an order of beignets and both are PERFECTION. Finally, I can rest easy knowing that my mission is complete.

Also, the baristas were both very sweet! I’ll definitely be back more often.

It's my first time actually drinking or eating anything from there but it won't be my last for sure. The Butter Rum latte was absolutely amazing especially with oat milk and the Beignets I had no clue they baked all fresh they were so nice and warm my toddler destroyed them.

I love coming here before work in the morning. Kathy and Reina are always friendly the coffee is always great! The beignets always tasty. I even come here with my co worker every Saturday morning and order their beignets. They make the start of a great Saturday

I’ve eaten here 4 days in a row now. The beignets are top notch, the bacon biscuit sandwich is very tasty. Only issue I’ve had is they’ve been out of cinnamon rolls for 2 days so I haven’t gotten to try one. Very good cafe

I visited PJ's for the first time today and found the shop to be clean, cozy and quiet - perfect for working/enjoying a book while having coffee. It was a Sunday afternoon, so I doubt it would be that quiet on a weekday. I didn't have any food, but the coffee was tasty (though it had less frills than Starbucks). The service was quick and polite.

I stopped in to get some work done and try the King Cake Cold Brew in honor of Fat Tuesday coming up. My drink was absolutely delicious and the owner, Tyra, was exceptionally friendly. I also had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit- highly recommend! Having been to PJ’s locations in New Orleans, this one did not disappoint- it had the same great food & drinks with the authentic NOLA vibes. Such a treat to have this in the DMV!
