Spring Dipper West Plains

This is by far my favorite ice cream place! I took my son here after his dental appointment at ozark kids dental, they gave us a free ice cream card. The ice cream was delicious and the little girl at the register was too cute!

This place is great, although it is a bit pricey, they put that cost into the ingredients for sure. The ice cream is amazing, the atmosphere is chill and happy, and this place smells like a childhood wonderland. They have so many different flavors of ice cream, there is something for everyone, maybe even multiple things for something. They can turn any flavor into a milkshake in just a bit of time. The people who work there are so nice and everyone who goes here (that I’ve seen) are respectful. This place would need more love if their workers and owners wasn’t giving all of theirs, but this place does really need more love. I love this place.

A MUST VISIT! A plethora of delicious flavors - one, or two or THREE of your favorite scoops in a huge waffle cone!? Yes puh-lease! Customer service on point and the atmosphere is just amazing, with an old fashion type feel and bursts of colorful invites into our best childhood memories of visiting the ice cream parlor! Hands down, best ice cream ever!

Wonderful little find. Homemade delicious ice cream. We had shakes. You can choose from any of the ice creams. Cute little building with tables for inside enjoyment. Definitely will go again.

This is the best place to get ice cream. Nadine and her staff are always patient and very kind - even when they’re jam packed, which is often! She also makes fantastic homemade ice cream cakes. Spring Dipper is a local treasure!

What can I say?
This is by far the best ice cream shop I have ever been to. I grew up in West Plains and every time I wanted ice cream, I wanted Spring Dipper. This homemade ice cream is the perfect mixture of ice and cream. If you are visiting, you gotta try this place.
And the service is always excellent. Nadine is the sweetest.

Great, eclectic, and unique variety of ice cream flavors, toppings, sundaes, and ways to enjoy your favorites. Amazing homemade ice creams. Amazing quality. And I'm super curious to try the dipper challenge some day! I also heard rumor of a potential milkshake challenge 😮😮😮 I cant wait to go back with my family!

Best Mint Chocolate Chip I have ever had. Great service. They know my regular order too. Sadly, I haven't been able to eat ice cream lately. But she now has a no sugar added version (which makes me feel she made it especially for me). I love this place! Also, it won best vanilla in a contest we had at our home with all the vanilla bean at the local stores we could find. Must have.

They are always super nice and are able to help even the most indecisive children pick a flavor 😂😂. For me it's always the sampler though.

Hands down the best ice cream I have ever had. There's really no way of comparing their ice cream to anyone else's here in town simply because it is that much better. I suppose you could chalk all this up to preference but you would be wrong as it simply is objectively better. The two members of staff were extremely knowledgeable and answered enthusiastically all of my many many ice cream related questions. Along with my twin brother I brought three children who we're very unsure on what flavor they would get. Two staff never even blinked an eye and remained completely professional and friendly despite going through what must have been most of y'all's catalog and the various combinations exceeding far past even my own patients. So if it's handmade ice cream in almost unlimited flavors delivered and served up by living saints that you must have then this is exactly the place for you. Allow me to be completely unambiguous and say that this is not hyperbole and in no way should this be interpreted as satirical. My review may seem over the top but it's only because I wanted my review to match my experience. In my attempts to be fair balanced and without bias I must include all the data even if it is negative to which I do now solemnly swear the following: ever since my last pull of perfectly blended peanut butter, chocolate, locally produced and sourced ice cream along with what I can only assume is not only patented but a bit divine, all other "ice creams" have effectively been ruined. You know that wonderful feeling you get when enjoying your favorite foods and how with childlike fondness you remember certain times with family and friends? Go ahead and recklessly abandon with abandon (Yes it's grammatically correct and what I intended to say) every single one of these and I challenge you to find a single shred of guilt about this fact after your first interaction with what we mortals call "spring Dipper" . TLDR: spring Dipper serves up chilled quasi-religious experiences that obviously make other frozen dairy products so soul destroying mediocre that it loops back around to positive as it may be the only actual way of measuring it's nearly divine qualities. The best ice cream. Prices are OK.

This is absolutely the best place to stop and get ice cream in the state of Missouri! Multiple flavors of ice cream, definitely worth the time to stop!
