Yes I'm here again to celebrate turning 47 again!

I've always had nothing but excellent food and service here; Matt was great and went into great detail to explain each dish available; personally, Matt is one of the best employees I've encountered on my visits here and I hope he stays as he is not only incredibly well versed on any dish you inquire about, he also makes a perfect filthy Martini that exceeds the others I've had that I have reviewed. Add to that, he is quite hilarious and engaging with the customers which is always a plus.

Anyways, the food (see pics) speaks for itself; the Oysters (3 different types) were fresh & chilled perfectly; the crab was perfect, the Filet carpaccio was perfectly seasoned, sliced the right size and just so amazingly soft I'd literally eat that everyday if I could.

My scallops were cooked perfectly, which is actually quite hard to do as they are a delicate food.

The filet was perfect as usual (I've reviewed this place previously in 2023) and one of the main reasons I come here, as this restaurant is really the only place that I prefer a filet over my own cooking one at home.

The mushroom saute had a mix of seasonings that went well; the spinach and cheese dish was a nice break from the norm, definitely a comfort food and would be great with steak or chicken.

Matt was again so nice and brought out this amazing fig dessert that was a perfect palatable finish to such an amazing dinner with my amazing friend

Matt also brought me out my favorite, fresh berries with whip cream to celebrate my 47th birthday which I've been consistently celebrating for a few weeks now😁‍

Really, if you want amazing food and impeccable service by a staff that is very engaging and customer oriented, I cannot recommend this place enough; the filet alone is a reason to come here.

Special occasion with special friends!

My family and I visited the restaurant for the first time last night for my birthday. Wow.. I can’t even express how amazing the food was! My filet was perfect, the sides were amazing, everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our experience. I truly got the VIP treatment from our waiter, Brandon! The owner Chuck even came by to sit and chat. Such a pleasure to meet him and enjoy the food, atmosphere and cocktails. This is my new favorite restaurant, I can’t wait to go back.

Oh my goodness, we absolutely love it here. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is always just the best... So friendly, helpful, and personable. And don't even get me started on the food. Everything from hotdogs to filet mignon, escargot to French fries... Truly something for everyone, and it's all some of the best we've ever had. It's our favorite spot for date night or even just for tapas and cocktails. Speaking of cocktails, their menu is delightful, always new things to try and the bartenders are incredible and knowledgeable about all things alcohol. Everytime I'm here, I can't wait to come back.

This is a hidden gem! Excellent food and service. The Salmon was so good. My husband got steak which was excellent as well. From appetizers to dessert it was a pleasurable dining experience.

Awesome local steakhouse! Fantastic addition to the El Dorado Hills Town Center. Great cuts of meat, food quality overall and beautiful presentation. Classic decor/interior, perfect for date night, business meetings or a cocktail before a movie. We'll definitely be back!

Charles (chef & owner) and his team are doing an excellent job.
They are very polite, taking care of the customers very well, always friendly and correct.
The food (we had shellfish, meat, dessert) was well served and cooked. For my taste it could have slighly more seasonings.
The cocktails were delicious.
The location and restaurant are very cleaning, invinting, upper class and charming.

Great local steak house! Food is great, drinks are great! Easy laid back atmosphere. I highly recommend the Old Fashioned made with Whistle Pig Rye.

Delicious craft cocktails, excellent bar staff and stellar food. Get ready to dip into your pocket book, but if your are looking for a fine dining meal with great service this is the spot in El Dorado hills.

I’m a steak guy and absolutely love this place. They keep the focus about the quality of food 100%. Service has been very accommodating every time we’ve been in even with our toddler twice which can be a handful.

They serve high quality beef and have options for Waygu and Dry-Aged as well. They also get the temperature and sear right for my steak every time whichI greatly appreciate. They have a mix of traditional steakhouse plates, some seafood options, and excellent sides along with seasonal specials. Drinks are tasty, solid wine selection, and you can addicts request a wine pairing option.

We went there for Thanksgiving this year and their prefix was exactly what were craving. Discovered them in 2019 and it’s quickly become our families favorite spot in town!

One thing I’d love to see is a few more options of Waygu cuts and a few more non-dairy options.

Not knocking any of the other restaurants but this one definitely is a “cut” above the rest!

The BEST steak house in all of Sacramento/ EDH!! Chuck is a fabulous owner &his staff are on top of it!! This restaurant is a must on your bucket list. Ask for the Phunk!!

How did I not know about this place sooner. Great food and drinks and all around great old school chill vibes. The charcuterie board was to die for and so was shrimp cocktails. Our waiter made me a phenomenal drink based off of what I described I wanted.

First I want to be very clear about the type of dining experience. This is not your get in get out get fed dinner for two under $50. This is actually a fine dining experience.

Menu is limited like most upper end dining, This is because they take the dishes they make very seriously. And each component is on purpose and blended with the others to provide a distinct experience to the diner (please don't alter thier recipe simply because you aren't sure if you like capers or not)

Portion size is spot on and leaves you feeling fed but not stuffed and miserable.

Side note if you make it to desert the creme Brulee was perfect.

Compliments to the staff and chef

First off, not a cheap place. Food is created with love and effort, you can tell from the taste. Food presentation is elegant, in fact my steak was delivered on a plate heated to 500 degrees. As I squeezed a lime over my 16oz Ribeye, a crackle danced across the plate.

Their lobster mac & cheese is delicious but also unique. My wife savored their crafted drinks, specifically the "bourbon cinn."

Atmosphere is pleasant, relaxing and yet in a desirable area. Would definitely recommend for anniversaries or business lunches.

You may be warded off by their prices,but make no mistake they are masters of their craft.

The menu had some fun things to try out, especially for options in EDH.

All of the food I ordered was delicious. Presentation of the dishes is pleasing. Seems like everything comes out on a hot plate, so take care to not burn yourself.

My steak was good, but I feel like I may have over hyped myself leading into it, as it seemed like one I would make at home if I was feeling fancy. Still delicious though, loved my meal.

Alcohol was a bit expensive but by now you should know what to expect. The place does lean towards every party member paying about 60-100/each, depending on how hungry you are, and if you share starters.

Overall I really liked my time. The atmosphere is great, the only thing keeping it from being a perfect experience for me would have to be I felt a tad let down by the steak, but there were other cuts and many more entree options on the menu to try. I plan to go back on special occasions.

Went here for my wife's birthday last night, we will be returning for special occasions. The place being next to a coldstone and an indian place that serves chinese food is a little off-putting but once inside it's very nice. We got a glass of wine and a cucumber basil martini. The martini was amazing and I love that they have local wineries featured.

I ordered the 12oz new york and she ordered the smoked duck. We also ordered the seasonal veg and the mac and cheese. The meats were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The veg was also cooked well, tasted fresh, and well seasoned. The star of the meal was the mac and cheese, pasta was perfect, the sauce was creamy and stringy. We had the vanilla bean creme brulee for dessert, delicious.

As others mention, this place is expensive. But, realistically the drinks, sides and desserts are pretty reasonable, the entrees and steaks are $$$, but worth it. My ONLY critique would be that they offer a full bar, wine, cocktails and beer, but they do not offer any kind of cider. There are dozens of local cider makers that offer great selection on tap or in cans.

This place is a gem, despite the location being kind of random. The food was excellent and the service was even better.

We came in without a reservation and despite only having one weight staff show up we were seated promptly in the bar with a warning that it may be a minute before somebody can get to us. We were served immediately! Sharon, is one of the best waitresses we have ever had! She was so attentive despite running around trying to take care of everyone in the restaurant. The food was so so delicious. Cooked to perfection our steak was one of the best we’ve ever had. Kanye who was the host was helping her every step of the way. They make a remarkable team. You will never be disappointed with any of the food at this delightful steakhouse!

Absolutely incredible! Luke made great recommendations and had us laughing and enjoying every moment before and after the food arrived. Shrimp scampi was seriously on point and the NY with Brandy peppercorn sauce is unbelievable.
Don't wait for a special occasion, because that's what dining here is. Can't wait to explore the menu as we will certainly be back many times. Thank you Luke!!

We stumbled upon C. Knights a couple of years ago and they are amazing! Service is always superior and the food is simply amazing. Elle is our favorite! She remembered our names and cocktail choice after only one visit. Her customer service is as good as it gets... She even Sings songs upon request at your dinner table, including happy birthday (angelic voice) as well. If your looking for a quiet well decorated restaurant with charm, great service and top notch food; this is the place!
