Salvatore's Tomato Pies

If you want a perfect pizza with lots of cheese…get the 16” Walter White. Absolutely delicious. We had 6:15pm reservations and they were slightly behind, so we sat at the bar and waited for our table. Ordered a couple of drinks. Busy night, but we were seated maybe 10 minutes later. Nice booth in the back room by the kitchen. My favorite spot. Ordered the pizza and the BOF burger with truffle fries. Both were great. Our server was very attentive. The cannolis for dessert were very good. We’ve been to this location a bunch of times. I prefer sitting in the back room vs. the very front by the window. They do have some nice booths in the front section too. Overall, we really enjoy our food and cocktails. Definitely will be back for another date night.

Absolutely amazing! Always love this place for pizza but tried calamari and smoked wings tonight and yummy! The calamari is huge with this fluffy batter and the smoked wings with house rub was delicious. Loved the reserve wine list too. The managers Charlie and Joe are so friendly and really help set the atmosphere. Elaine was an excellent server too!

It's totally worth the wait or plan ahead and make reservation.

The wait was about 30 minutes to get your food. The food was really great. Highly suggest their Main Event Burger, there is no need to add anything to their burger, it is great as is. Their truffle fries were good as well but I wish it was included in the meal and not an extra $4. You end up with a burger and fries for almost $19.
Their old fashioned was good with the brandy.

Fantastic pizza and atmosphere! We absolutely loved the specialty pizza of the week - Buffalo chicken should be on the everyday menu for sure! We’ve gotten Buffalo chicken pizza at a lot of places and this was our favorite!

Visited Salvatore's for dinner with my daughter. Very cool restaurant and atmosphere. Service was great - attentive and polite.

We had the truffle fries and a large Fat Uncle Tony pizza. The fries were amazing...my daughter said they are her new favorite and would stop again for the fries alone. The pizza was equally fantastic. We ended up bringing half the pizza back home with us.

However, the coolest thing might have been the robot that delivered pizzas and salads from the back of the restaurant to the front for carryout. It was so cool. It also looks like their carryout business was quite busy...which I would consider carryout in the future, but the atmosphere inside is certainly worth going inside to sit down.

First time eating here, but we had a large group so I was able to sample multiple dishes. Food was ALL fantastic! We tried 2 appetizers, cheese curds and some bread thing. Cheese curds were great, and everyone else liked the bread. We had 4 pizzas, i don't recall all the names, but one was a chicken Parm, one was the Fat Tony, one was a pepper one and the last was the mushroom one. If you like mushrooms, you'll never find a better pizza. All 4 were amazing, but the mushroom one was absolutely superb. Several of us ordered entrees and they were great as well. Seasoning was spectacular and the sauces were all unique. When you charge $25 for a pizza, i expect a great pizza... I was not disappointed.

The BOF Burger is THEE BEST BURGER I have ever had in my entire life! What genius came up with this? It is absolutely delicious. Caramelized apples on a burger? Brandy Old Fashioned cherry jam on a burger? YES, PLEASE! WOW! Just WOW!! Bacon! I want to have this burger everyday of my life. I am in LOVE! AWESOME pizza too btw. The crust is really good, as is the sauce. The whole fam agrees...THE BEST PIZZA in Madison (hands down) and probably in the state. We cant wait to go back and try some new things, but it'll always be the BOF burger for me. If you haven't been, GO! NOW! Worth every penny. Also, customer service was wonderful. Amy Y was so nice and helpful. Just loved Amy. All the staff, just so awesome. Salvatore's is where it's at! Thank You Amy Y and Salvatore's for an awesome day in Sun Prairie. We couldn't stop talking about it.

Amazing pizza!! Lots of great choices and there's also build-your-own. Place is nice inside but the music playing was really loud (we visited around 11:15am on a Saturday) so that kind of detracted from the atmosphere a bit. Great food though!

I ordered on line and didn’t get the confirmation email. I called the store and they had the order as pick up the person answering my was quick to be able to change my order. I was not able to get a confirmation for delivery time… but short after what would have been pick up, my delivery driver was here! I was not expecting so soon but he was so friendly and wanted to be sure I had my food! Every single order from Sal’s… all the staff are so wonderful! Amazing kindness!

It was very good. Had to wait for 45 minutes because I didn't have a reservation and I would definitely say it was worth the wait. I would go back again and again. Definitely some of the best pizza I've had in my life.

Best pizza in Wisconsin hands down. I'm from the East Coast and I know good pizza, and this is some of the best pizza I've ever had. Their ingredients are fresh, you can see them post about farmer's markets even! I live in Colorado now and just miss this place all the time. Sal's is the best, there's no competition. And the Sun Prairie location is the best one. They are so dedicated to their craft and you can taste it in the food. Whenever I go back to visit... I will be stopping in here. 😍 The atmosphere can be a bit noisy, but what else could you expect from the best pizza place in the Midwest???! Photo is from takeout, but I've dined in many times as well. Both are worth it!

Great food & great service. Everyone was very attentive and on top of it. As a culinary professional myself I noticed a lot of things they did very well. First the ambiance is fun and eclectic. Second the staff aware and working well as a team, third the menu was a lot of fun and so many great ideas and options. Finally the execution was perfect and timely. We will be back.

Great food! We had the classic pizza and it was so tasty plus the crust was perfect. Also had the meatball appetizer and that was very flavorful as well.
The restaurant also got a good look to it.

Fantastic and very unique pizzas and many other fresh locally sourced food other than pizza. The pizza sauce and crust is perfection! They seem to change up their menu often so there’s always something new. One of my top three pizza places I’ve ever been too!

We recently moved to Sun Prairie, originally from the Chicagoland area. Finding a place like Salvatore’s definitely helps make up for losing one of our favorite pizza places back home! Food is great, service was phenomenal. Can’t wait to bring friends and family here when they visit!

This is my favorite pizza place in Wisconsin so far. Love the standard tomato pie, it is my favorite pizza there. Have also had the Fat Uncle Tony's and the Forza which are both really good but the Tomato pie is the best thing I've had here. Soft crust and strong tasting sauce(with a little sweetness) are what you can expect for this pizza.

Salvatore's is the best pizza I have had in Wisconsin, other than Pizza Farms in West Wisconsin.

We ordered the Forza and the Figgy Piggy. The Forza was very good, with large clumps of creamy Ricotta cheese. There were some peppers on it, but they did not add any spice to the pizza. The Figgy Piggy was also delicious, but overall maybe too sweet for some people. I think that a bit of balsamic would have balanced the flavors out and made it perfect.

Salvatore's also had a very good selection of beer. I ordered a Russian Imperial from Point Brewery and was really blown away by how amazing it was. I would highly recommend.

The service was also very fast and friendly. The pizzas took about 15 mins to come out, so quite fast for these large pizzas. Our waitress was also very friendly and lively.

Note about the pictures: The photos came out pretty dark, which was totally my fault. The restaurant was very well lit. I just hadn't adjusted my camera.

I will be going back to Salvatore's!

Our family absolutely LOVES this place. When we can't get into the restaurant, but we're craving pizza, we ordered takeout or delivery and it's always fresh and hot and amaaaaazing.

Truly great pizza pies! It's obvious that Salvatore's takes pride in their craft. I was pleased to see that they use fresh ingredients that are locally sourced. This was my first time here and I got the monthly special pie "Third Street and Main." I will definitely be back while I am still in the area for work.
