A wonderful restaurant just outside the Mt Rainier Paradise entrance. Food was excellent and service was welcoming and very attentive. We visited twice on our trip just to experience different dishes on the menu. The Himalayan Sherpa Stew, Chicken Thali and Summit Burger were all delicious. The owners mountaineering story is an added bonus to this stop complete with an exhibit inside the restaurant. Enjoy!

We were here a week before they closed for the season. Had dine-in Himalayan food on the first day and take-out American on the second day. Himalayan food was interesting, very comforting but I guess I’m not used to eating their veggies 😅, still I would highly recommend it. American food on the second day was good too, their fish and chips were chef kiss. Staffs were very nice, service was quick but it could get real busy during dinner time.

Amazing spot near some of the lodging right before the entrance to Mount Rainier park. They got a decent amount of parking out front and the food was so good. I really liked the fish & chips, their fries were some of the best. So crispy and soft on the inside. The Sherpa Stew was so delicious too. Also recommend the burger if you're looking for a hearty fulfilling meal

What a unique experience! We have the Chicken Thali, Veggie samosas and the pappadum lentil crispy wafers. Everything was so good and fun to eat authentic Sherpa Himalayan dishes after hiking through the mountains. Loved this place and the atmosphere. Wish I had photos of the food.

This great spot is conveniently located to the park and is perfect if you’re headed home for the night or want to grab a quick bite for lunch or dinner before heading back into the park. Himalayan decor makes for a unique atmosphere and the staff there is absolutely great. I had the Summit Burger, which is absolutely massive, but I feel as if the quality of the beef could have been better. The onion rings were terrific though and worth ordering again. The Himalayan food looked amazing and received great reviews at neighboring tables so I’d definitely lean in that direction next time. Craft beer selection wasn’t massive but was very solid and would meet the needs of most beer drinkers. Overall a great spot for lunch/dinner and I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a sit-down dining experience in the area.

Excellent service. The outdoor diner was beautiful. It's set in a lot of greenery. I had the chicken thali, which was delicious and had just the right amount of spice. For dessert, I had the homemade marionberry pie with vanilla ice cream, which was superb. I will visit again the next time I'm in the area.

So happy with this place and absolutely stunned that someone can provide delicious, nutritious , simple taste and fresh food in our area, that too in a remote area like Mt Rainier, food was much better than most of the fancy places in Seattle area.. would go again n again :) so happy. My only wish is they had veg momos on the menu.

This place is so good! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options - we ordered the pork momo and the stew and they were both fantastic. Service is quick and efficient. Know what you want before you sit so they can move it along - be prepared to wait in line as this is one of the more popular places to eat in town, and for a good reason. We heard the marionberry pie was really good but were too full to order it - next time!

Outstanding!
Good was fantastic, selection and atmosphere were great, service was great. Such a cool dynamic that the owner/chef/waiter is a Sherpa with Everest records! The display in the restaurant that has his gear, awards, info, and other stuff was amazing. Just as it was said on the menu, sure enough, he was making food and delivering it.

We tried the three house featured dishes, both were fantastic.

Summit Burger - super good, triple meat burger with cheese and toppings. The burger sauce was great! French Fries were awesome.

Chicken Tali - chicken was so tender and full of flavor, the rice was perfect.

Marion Blackberry Pie - save room for dessert or gorge yourself or take it with you, but don’t leave without trying this fantastic pie.

No doubt we’ll be back here!

We had a great experience at this restaurant. After a long hike in Mount Rainier, we found this wonderful place near the park, and had lunch here. The food was good, the staff very friendly. Good prices, and the blueberry pies 🥧 were delicious. I think they are home made, and the taste is awesome. I recommend this place for sure, we had a good time here.

Food was great. Had the summit burger and fries. Would definitely eat it again.
Service was tip top.
Restaurant was nice. Decided to eat out on the patio under the tent since the weather was nice. The only suggestion I think I could make is putting a fan out there under the tent to stir up the air. Pretty hot and muggy. But other than that I definitely can't wait until the next time to try something new out.

Just what we needed after a great hiking day at Mt. Rainier! Sherpa owned, the place has an exhibit of the owner’s gear and Guinness Record at Mt. Everest. Get the Momos and the Stew 🍲!

The Himalayan Specialities section of the menu are a must try. The people working this restaurant are super nice and attentive. The service is also super fast and the food comes out quickly.

The owner of the restaurant holds the fastest climb up Mt. Everest which is also super cool.

Great lunch spot after hiking the skyline trail. Tried the stew which paired nicely with the Rainier beer on tap, the mushroom thali and finished with the marionberry pie. Enough food to make us choose an easier hike in the afternoon.

wow!! loved the Mushroom Thali and the most exquisite marionberry pie. staff is super friendly, great environment and conversation! also, the Mt. Everest display is incredible enough to visit on its own without the food. incredible that there’s a restaurant like this right outside Ranier, I always stop by when I go hiking here! also, primo vegetarian and vegan options available.

This is the best restaurant in or around Mount Rainier National Park. We stayed at Cougar Rock Campground for 2 nights and went to Wild Berry for dinner on both nights. It’s worth the drive. The food is amazing, and sitting outside is really nice. We also ordered beer, pie, and ice cream, and it was all great. Highly recommended!

After a majestic, but arduous experience hiking the Skyline Trail on Mt. Rainier, we needed a hearty meal to pick us back up. With limited options based on the area and limited internet service (I couldn’t find my own house some days if it wasn’t for internet), we took a chance at trying Himalayan/Nepalese at Wildberry. We were not only surprised, but actually blown away at how delicious and flavorful the food was. We had the veggie samosas to start w/ the tomato-based dip. Holy sh$! Was this thing good. It’s got just the right amount of spicy kick to it to knock the mountain dust right off! Then we had the pork momos and hedged our risk with a club sandwich just in case. They both were phenomenal. The club came with fries and was enough for two ppl. The service was great also. The servers answered our questions and were just nice. Just being nice goes a long way. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and the weather today in mid-August was about 70 and perfect for outside.

Brought me back to Nepal. The Chicken Thali was delicious!! My husband and I had this in Kathmandu before our trek to Everest Base Camp and it along with the atmosphere brought back so many wonderful memories. I was so excited to find this place. And everyone was so nice. We had a lovely talk about my trek and how to hang prayer flags. I always regretted not getting some in Nepal so I was overjoyed to find them here. Also, Momo!!! And Sherpa Stew! We had all this in Nepal. So yummy! Give them a try!

Great location, not far from the entrance to Mt Rainier. Multi-cultural menu, food comes out very quickly and with perfect accuracy, even with substitutions and the waiter taking our order by memory. Food was all delicious, especially the Summit Burger (shown), and the homemade Marion berry pie! All great, reasonably priced, very nice outdoor seating, and prompt service - couldn't ask for more. Recommend.
