We did a hike, Trail of Shadows. Went there hoping for snow. There wasn't much but when we left it was coming down hard.

Beautiful location, and loves the trail of shadows. I should have done that first on my weekend hikes to give more perspective and a better understanding and lay of the land.

Full of interesting information and artifacts. A worthy visit. Also near the Inn, grocery/gift shop and Information Center.

Great stop on the way to Mt Rainier. We had a lovely walk on the Trail of the Shadows to stretch our legs before heading up the Mountain

It's the ranger station for nearby hiking and camping. There is beautiful winter scenery there right now, but dress warmly and bring snowshoes.

Mount Rainer is a great place to visit. Anytime. Weekdays are better for parking.

Very nice staff. Lots of taxidermy of native animals and birds. Some items for sale. Great place to learn about Mt Rainier.
Also, there is a logged tree that dates back to c.1200

The museum building was simple but very informative, the park and trails were impeccable and memorizing. Will definitely be back!!

I was actually very surprised at how cool this tiny little museum was. It's basically a one room cabin that you can circle in about 30 seconds, BUT there are tons of interesting things to see. Make sure you look up on top of the shelves is stuffed and mounted animals that are fascinating. 10 out of 10 would recommend if your in the area.

Nice stop in Mount Rainier National Park. The inn was super nice and the staff was very friendly. It was fun to learn about the history of the park.
