El Potrillo Mexican Restaurant & Grill

Wow! I mean WOW! I'm now absolutely in love with this place! I had a dish I've had at several different Mexican restaurants and none of them come close to how good this was. Also the best strawberry margarita I've ever had. Our waiter was very nice and attentive with a huge lovely smile the whole time. All the other employees I interacted with were also very nice and friendly. The atmosphere and decor were great as well! I will definitely be dining here again hopefully many times. I highly recommend trying this place out for yourself and you will not regret it!

took my New Yorker partner here so he could experience authentic Mexican food that we don't have back in upstate New York. (I'm from here and already love El Potrillo) he was very impressed. Can't beat the lunch special prices and portion sizes.

We had a delicious dinner here. Service was great even on a Saturday night. We were sat promptly and food came out quick. The servings were also huge we got the fajita platter that was meant to feed two we could barely eat half! Highly recommend!

We are from Colorado and are spoiled with amazing Mexican food. We finally ventured out and we absolutely went to the right place! We were there at the tail end of lunch which goes until 3:30pm and they have very affordable lunch menu. (I think they were all under $10 and plenty of food!) Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

It was very chill. We sat out side. Service was good. We tried a pulled pork taco on a flour tortilla, it was really good. Of course the drink was delicious

We hadn’t been here in several years. But we’d figure we’d give them another try. Wow. Great warm chips and lightly spicy salsa. Huge chicken fajitas for two. Feed my family of four and I have left overs for lunch tomorrow. All for about $30.

The food was great! We had a group and service was good, for 18 people, they didn't get any orders mixed up that I know of! 18% tip for everyone, but that wasn't bad!

This is by far the best Mexican Restaurant I've been to in Mississippi! The Service is great and the food and drinks are Money! Best Decor for a Mexican Restaurant I've seen too! Will definitely be a frequent customer!

Only draw back was the amount of space. The place was extremely crowded. Great food and Service so it is understandable. Next time I will call ahead for dinner and ask.

This restaurant deserves 5 stars. Excellent service and food is delicious. I was there yesterday and had Carne Asada plate😋!

Solid in every way except the guacamole which tastes good but doesn't have chunks of avocado which I prefer...Good chips too ...I had the chicken fajitas

This is the best Mexican restaurant, hands down! The food is great! The drinks are great! And the service is top notch! Super friendly staff! This is the only Mexican restaurant we eat at in Rankin County! The Fajitas Hidalguense is the best thing on the menu!

The service at this restaurant was outstanding. We called ahead and booked the private room to include our entire soccer team. Every single staff member went out of their way to make sure the experience was wonderful. I recommend this place to any group, big or small.

This place has awesome Mexican food with a full bar and a range of margaritas (2 for 1 lime margaritas for happy hour). Every single thing on the menu is great, but I usually wind up getting a combination plate from the lunch menu. Sit near the tortilla machine in the dining room for some mesmerizing entertainment with your meal. They take to go orders for pick up by phone and even include chips and salsa with every bag. Friendly staff with quick service.

The Carnitas were amazing! So much food! Also, the decor was probably some of the best I've seen for a smaller Mexican restaurant.
