Academy Sports + Outdoors

Been talking to Matila at Academy in Flowood about ordering 35 10×10 canopies for sporting event. Went and picked them up today with no problem. She was very knowledgeable, professional and kept me up to date while getting them all to the store. I would definitely recommend.

My new baby, everything went fast and the employees were sweet.

Great selection and service. Not much ammo to choose from. Can find good gun deals from time to time. Lots of outdoor supplies for all your needs.

Good customer service associate , answered all questions I had. completed transaction in a timely manner.

Had a problem with an item that I bought and I had 3 people waiting on me to correct the problem. They found a solution to my problem. Nice young men in the gun department. It was early and the ladies at the check out were eager to wait on me and were nice and polite.

Great products for outdoor activities. My go to for fishing lures and equipment.

The store is well stocked and very clean.

I can't give this establishment less than five stars because it has exactly what it's supposed to and the staff are nice and friendly. They also have some pretty amazing sales fairly regularly and I can definitely appreciate that. When I bring my wife and kiddos here we always split in different direction and have to meet up later after exploring.

Always a good place to go for out door sports and more.

Update Hey All as of 3/4/22 We stop Academy Sports and was greeted at the door and as we look at different things and I was looking at a new pistol and Roderick was my salesman and was very helpful and Very knowledgeable on the pistols and Ammunition that was available .Roderick was very nice salesman and management needs to give this young man a raise . Hey All went to Academy Sports to get some shells ended up finding some tennis shoes man this place has everything from shirts to turkey fryers to running shoes. If it involves some kind of outdoor activity at Sports Academy has it can't go wrong but going to this place it's got everything enjoy

I had never been to any academy sports before so I stopped in while I was in the area. It was basically like any big corporate store but was very clean, well organized, and the staff was very helpful.

This store seems to always be very clean and well stocked. Each time I've been in it. And today was no different. There was several empty spots this time around. But there getting ready for summer item's. But over all great store wonderfully location. And the employees was very helpful.

They have the best sales on shoes! Just purchased 3 pair of Nikes for 80.00 ! Can’t beat their selection. I’ve been to every shoes store including Nike and couldn’t find what I was looking for. This was my last stop and should have been my first.

The shoes that I bought is for snow, sun, and rain. They fit my feet nicely and they dont have them in pain. When I ordered them on line I felt like I ought not dare because I thought they could be ugly in person but when I picked them up at the store I went to the back and found an additional pair. Their product and services are both great.

The guy who checked us out was wonderful even gave my son some helpful advise on him starting football it was very good experience. They were so helpful even afterwards when we realized my son left an item that same particular day & they were more than happy to help us no problems!

Normally Academy Sport have what you are looking for. Quality products are quality price. The sales associate that helped me was really nice, friendly, and helpful. I didn't see many sales reps. The cashier was not very friendly nor did she speak and ask did I find everything okay. Customer service is very important and Big. Today, no one feelings the need to serve people with Love and confidence. I do! I would love it back. I really like Academy Sport anyway outside the customer service.

We went there looking for shoes and I was pleased to find Asics as being in stock. Wife found 2 pairs of Adidas and everything was on sale. Donna was especially helpful and a pleasant sales lady.
