Cups | An Espresso Café

I am realizing that you can't go to a 'bad' Cups. This location is a bit more "streamlined" and "modern" but it's still a warm and inviting area perfect for studying or just relaxing with a book. As with all Cups, the staff here are very friendly, helpful, and non-disturbing. I love the art on the tables. Oh, I suppose I should mention that the coffee is ALWAYS superb!

Killer double shot cortado. Their espresso is strong and smooth. Barista Susan has been here for years and knows your “usual” when you walk up to the counter. It’s a place where they know your name.

Only one barista so there was a long line but totally worth it! The barista worked quickly and was still incredibly nice despite how busy and short staffed it was. Great coffee too!

The owner is an exceptional human! The coffee rocks face! Whether stopping through or residing in the area come down today!

This is a great place for coffee (for my wife) or hot chocolate (for me). They have a friendly, comfortable atmosphere amd wifi is available here. They are easy to find and plenty of parking is available.

Such a wonderful coffee spot! We were only in town for a weekend excursion & as I'm a Starbucks fanatic, it was my first time here. I ordered a blondie latte & it was so yummy! The barista was working alone bless her heart, but she maintained her polite demeanor and speedy service despite the line that was literally out of the door!

Want a place to go where everyone knows your name? Minus the alcohol. Well you’ve found your place. Want a coffee shop where you can wander in and order a size you can pronounce.. ? They’ve got that too. Feeling a little sparkly and want your coffee served to you in a ceramic mug of a unicorn riding a rainbow..just ask and you shall receive. Good luck with that at Starbucks.

Susan bakes all her breakfast items by hand daily. If you haven’t had a blueberry muffin on Wednesday your just not living life. But hey, if your on a diet or something they have a selection of non fun items.. like oatmeal.

Have a nagging question you’ve just been dying to ask a cop? Well, your in luck. Most days Mon-Sat you’ll have some of Madison and Rankin counties finest in having coffee. Just walk up and ask. They don’t bite.

If your goal is to slide up and order out your window this isn’t your place. Come in, share a laugh, look at some local artwork, interact with your neighbors and I think you won’t want to go anywhere else.

Oh, and if your upset about that plain ole styrofoam cup (Covid supply issue) they’ll always draw a picture on it for you.

Excellent service. Coffee drinks are meticulously prepared with high quality benchmarks. Every single experience I have had at this location over past 6 years has been positive.

Cups is ALWAYS great! They are 50x better than Starbuck’s in my opinion! The staff is always friendly, they are very knowledgeable about their drink offerings, and the coffee is delicious! Very convenient that they have multiple locations as well. Give Cups - An Espresso Cafe all your business!

If they could just get a touch faster this would be one of the better cups places. Coffee is always good but even with no one in line it's just slow. Get a cream cheese danish

Sweet little coffee shop, comfy furniture, good assortment of freshly made baked goods and a healthy, but tasty packaged protein bar. Most importantly, the staff are kind. I’m sorry I didn’t get the name of the person who helped me on Thursday, but I was passing through on my way home after Ida. I was tired and anxious and still had no power at home. Your barista made me feel welcomed and helped me sort my way on the map. Right as I was leaving your shop, I learned the power was back on at home, they celebrated with me. I cried when I got in my car. Please thank them for me.

I actually stumbled upon this place while trying to find a Starbucks during the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff was more than happy to help with all the questions I had. To top it off the coffee was so amazing I actually bought two pounds to take back to Nashville with me. I ended up going to two locations, this one and one in Brandon. This location seemed best to me but the coffee was amazing at both.

One of the best places in Flowood to get coffee! I have been here countless times and have never had a bad experience. Pass up the Starbucks across the road because Cups is so much better and cheaper, and made with a lot more love! Support local!

Service was a little slow, but that's because it's Christmas and that should be expected. Friendly staff filled our order correctly and the coffee was great

One of my favorite coffee shops in Flowood. Love the different flavors they offer. I highly recommend trying the blueberry cinnamon and the Turkish roast. Plus they have a nice selection of pastries and snacks.

Cups Espresso Cafe is what Starbucks wishes they were. Local roasters insure Freshly roasted beans. Great service and a fair price keep me coming back for more.

I really like it here but I don't think they ever give me the extra shot I always ask for, which kinda pisses me off since literally EVERY other cups does it with no problem.. 🤷🏻‍♀

What's not to love? It's a coffee shop with good coffee. Braistas are always nice and quick with a good suggestion.

Try everything there. Just not all at once. I think that'd be deadly, either from the caffeine or from kidney failure with too much fluid.

The manager of this location goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. I'm a Cup's fan in general, but this Flowood location is the best in the metro area.
