Owls Head Rustics

Bought a new red cedar Adirondack chair from here today. The owner helped me take the chair apart when it didn’t fit into my vehicle. I got the chair home and couldn’t be more happy. This is a very nice place and I’m looking forward to going back next year for another chair!

Owl’s Head Rustics is far and away the best ADK furniture store I have encountered. The prices are very fair and the best for what you get. An order for custom made may take a few months more than expected but it is worth the wait. Eric goes out of his way and is committed to you being satisfied and we have nothing but great things to say about this store. This is the place to go.

My apology for the 3 year delay in in submitting this review. In the spring of 2016 I had been on an 18 month quest for a dining table. We stopped on a whim late in the afternoon expecting high pricing. Rolling back a pile of table runners revealed this gem of a table. Since no price was on it a phone call to management was needed. I was thrilled to find it was about $800 below what I had budgeted & purchased it on the spot,

We are on vacation in the Adirondacks so we stopped to take a look. The store is much bigger than it looks from the road. There is a large selection of accessories and furniture to decorate and furnish a chalet. We didn't take anything but enjoyed the visit. The quality of the products sold seems very good. Recommended!

I was thoroughly in love with how orderly and beautiful this store is. The associate Erick was very knowledgeable and kind to me. I could not believe how helpful he was. Erick made the whole experience in the store worthwhile. I’ll definitely be back

I love this place! When my vision was better I would go in and check out all the hand crafted furniture. Now I'm relegated to the scents which are amazing. The furniture is amazing, the quilts are classic country and the hand made soaps are fragrant but not overpowering. Well worth the short drive from Lake Placid. ☆☆☆☆☆

We always stop here on our way to and from Lake Placid. The store always has a great selection and amazing prices! Erick has always been very friendly, knowledgeable and always helps us when we stop by to shop. We can't wait to come back in the fall!!!

Driving by on my way to Lake Placid. I had passed the place earlier in the day, and when seeing it again I decided to stop by. It was well worth the trip. I stepped inside and was instantly greeted with a rustic atmosphere featuring unique furniture. Beyond the furniture, there were other types of goods, such as blankets, pillows, and more. The paintings in the back were absolute gorgeous and the prices were very reasonable. Towards the back there was a whole section of handmade soaps with unique smells. As someone who loves handmade soap, I found myself very pleased at all the scents and the great prices. The staff were beyond friendly. I had a very pleasant conversation with the wonderful woman who was working behind the counter. After traveling by myself for several days, it was nice to feel welcomed in a place far from my home.

We stopped at owls head rustics while we were in the high peaks area, we went to another store that I saw advertised in Adirondack life magazine, we should of skipped that store and just stopped at owls head rustics. Huge selection of furniture and decor, the staff were very friendly and helpful, we are decorating our living room Adirondack style, this store had a great selection, we bought a coffee table, we will be back next year for another piece of furniture, great store and great prices, best rustic store in the lake placid high peaks area.

This place has all kinds of hand made furniture and house wares that would ve perfect for decorating a log cabin or ski lodge. Really nice table sets, cool bunk beds, antler chandeliers. Very cool stuff and the prices weren't overly expensive for the apparent quality.

Amazing collection of Adirondack Rustic indoor and outdoor furniture and home furnishings. Do not miss this place if you are in the area. If you are in the market for Adirondack style furniture don't bother going anywhere else.

I absolutely love this store. It is my go to for gifts for friends, rugs for my house, lamps - which is what we were looking at today. I go by this store almost everyday as we live in the area. The best prices and wonderful selection of "Adirondacky" items.

Each year when we visit the Adirondacks, we always stop in to check out the store. This year we purchased a couple of Adirondack Chairs and a side table over the phone; Erick is super helpful and friendly, and was able to get our orders to us in no-time!
