This place was great! They had great food and coffee, homemade pickles that came with our sandwiches. Get this, even their napkins were quality! I would go out of my way to get a sandwich here. Thanks for the food!

Visited Keene for the hiking in October and had a great time in this small town. We visited ADK market two or three times over the course of the weekend because of the great service and delicious food. The sandwiches are the perfect size to eat before embarking on a hike—and there were even a few delicious veggie-friendly options that tasted great too. When we got back we ended up returning for a cappuccino and a couple of freshly-fried donuts.

The store has some nice camping food (non-perishable sauces in small packets, etc) in the back of the store. Check it out!

My favorite place ever! My boyfriend and I start dreaming of the chicken salad sandwich with pickles near the end of every hike, and it has become quite the tradition. They also have the best fresh baked bread, chocolate chip cookies, and donuts. Each time we are up in Keene, we stop here pretty much every day.

Love this little market and bakery. It is our first stop upon arriving to the Keene valley area. They have organic, gluten free snacks and Staples, delicious breakfast brunch menu and fresh baked goods and lattes with your choice of milk. Not much else around has these to offer.

One of our favorite spot in Keene to go after a hike. The lady that serves us always has a smile and remembers us all the time. We feel welcome there. There is a wide variety of choices and their homemade cookie and donuts are amazing!

After hiking Hurricane Mountain, we stopped in for a coffee. We ended up staying for 1hr and spent $50 on food and coffee. The market side is extensive and unique, with local and artisianal food/goods. The bakery Cafe side has AMAZING fresh food and baked goods, everywhere we looked there was a new menu with new items we wanted. The coffee was great and all food tasted awesome. We'll be back many times and will always try something new.

A surprisingly diverse and refined selection of grocery goods and fancy snacks, incl many vegan and gluten-free options. Fresh baked goods are also great (apple muffins!). All a bit pricey but on par with NY natural food stores.

A little gem in Keene! I'm local and stop in just about every other day for their coffee and espresso drinks. Great chicken salad and really great homemade bread! Marie and Sandra are so nice too!

High quality organic products for pantry, cooking and bakes. Chicken Salad Sandwich & ADK Club were both delicious. Reasonable pricing for convenience and small county store. Clean, great service, and large selection. Worth a visit and will be back again! Porta pottys are in the back for public use.

Such a nice place to stop in and get a great made sandwich! I had the grilled kielbasa with sour kraut and melted cheese to finish. Very good and will be returning.

Wonderful bakery!! Love the scones, cranberry pecan are my favorite!!!! Delicious deli and coffee as well. I stop here every time I go by...

Excellent restaurant -- indeed, the best food in Keene/Keene Valley area. I am vegetarian, and I am always able to find fresh, well-prepared food at Forty Six. Highly recommended.

This place is wonderful. Very tasty homemade sandwiches and pastries, it is not so easy to find such a shop nowadays. The person running the place is nice. Nice terrace.

Cozy and quaint market. High end boutique items, great coffee and best Leon pie that I have ever tasted. Some items here a quite expensive but high quality.

Yes, some of the prices area bit high, but not excessively, and you get what you pay for. Locally grown and homemade food comes at a price, but it is so worth it! The food was simply incredible!

Love this shop! Great stop for all natural snacks, desserts, and beverages. They keep a very impressive selection on the shelves.

We had a great experience there, great coffee, baked goods and service! Sipping coffee in a rocker on their front porch was wonderful!
