very nice place to hang out with kids, and eat some good quality Mexican street food. Ambience is very nice. Interior decoration is at par. Loved our server, Michael and cant wait to come back again.

Fantastic fusion of California/Mexican food! You will find the owner Josh behind the bar making fantastic margaritas. Refreshed interior that’s super fun. Make sure you try the street corn - it’s fantastic. And wether you have to go or not, stop by the bathrooms on your way out!

Fantastic service from our waiter. Really enjoyed the cocktails and food items from calamari, to burger to tacos.

Sat outside on the patio. Not sure if it's temporary but it was nice.

Hands down the best customer experience I have ever received at a restaurant in Minnesota. This restaurant should be a model example of how to treat customers and earn repeat customers. We came here to celebrate a friends birthday, the restaurant is located in a nice affluent area, right next to a big lake. The whole area is mostly yacht club, and nice luxury cars driving and parked along the many shops located in the area. The atmosphere of the Restaurant was welcoming and inviting, very nice beach vibes inside and outside the restaurant. We had a party of 12 with 1 waitress “Tammy” who did a phenomenal job accommodating us and making us feel welcomed. The drink suggestions she gave us all turned out fantastic. The only mishap was the suggested meal of jambalaya, the meal was very salty. Once we told the staff (who turned out to be the owner) he said it was no problem even though the kitchen was closed and had the chefs make 2 burger meals to replace to jambalaya. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The rest of the food was good. The wings were had a nice spice to them and had a good crunch. The Cabo burger was by bar the hit of the night. Multiple people got it and were impressed with all the flavors exploding out of the burger. The owner also treated my friend to a tequila shot of “Clase Azul Reposado” and a desert for his bday. He even sung happy birthday with us a group. I mention the excellent customer service, because sometimes in affluent white areas when a group of black people come in to an establishment you can be made to feel unwanted, the vibe can be awkward, and just feel like you are not getting the best customer service. Not here we really felt like family and had a blast of a night. The whole night was LIT thanks to Josh the owner and his staff. A big THANK YOU to Baja Haus for the hospitality and the memories.

Always a great meal! I have had barbacoa tacos, corn, Brussel sprouts, tuna poke and all have been amazing. Tonight I had the chicken tinga burrito bowl and the poke. They were both awesome. The specialty drinks are fine. I had the Jefe Margarita and it tasted like a margarita. Next time would probably save my money and get a basic margarita for $6 less. Prices are a bit on the higher side but it is in Wayzata, so thats expected (was $85 for 2 drinks, 1 app, 1 burrito and 1 burrito bowl.

Love this place! Gorgeous ambiance, fun beach vibes. On point. The tacos are soooo good! Order the Brussels sprouts and chips and queso for apps- delicious! I will be back.

Our first visit to Baja Haus where I enjoyed Steak tacos, chips with guacamole, both were fresh and flavorful. Beer options are great, my Mango Margarita was very tasty. Staff was helpful and answered all our question, looking forward to trying out more menu items soon!

We went there on a Friday evening 8/4/23. To start with, Michael our waiter was beyond exceptional and made it one of the best experiences for our first time visiting here. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect and definitely would recommend the food and drinks. But, what stood out most was Michael... he took the time to explain each drink and put it into leimans terms for us as well as with the food and made very educated recommendations for us and described them to us as well. Very attentive and and has very clear passion for creating the best experience. Besides the quality of the product, most importantly Michael is the reason I will always recommend and be returning here. Hats off to you!

Chill vibe with amazing tacos, drinks and service. Top notch, gotta visit and get birria tacos! Will not disappoint!

We went during restaurant week, so we only tried a limited portion of their menu and cheaper than usual price. With that said, we were a fan of everything we ordered. The tuna steak was fantastic, expertly prepared! The brussel sprouts were some of the best sprouts that I have ever ordered at a restaurant, absolutely worth ordering if you're a fan of crispy sprouts.

Went to Baja Haus for the first time. Was excited initially by this fun concept going into DT Wayzata but was surprised/concerned by some of the bad the reviews.

We arrived about 5pm on a Saturday and had no problem getting a table. Happy hour was a good selection of the menu.

The cheese roll is like a crispy Parmesan roll with sauces. It wasn't our favorite, it also wasn't what we were expecting.

The daily ceviche was absolutely wonderful. Fresh and very flavorful!

The pork tacos and crunchy fish tacos were very good.

Our favorite was the chicken tiki tostadas on happy hour. These were packed with flavor, and sauces. Messy to eat but well worth it!

They have a very wide selection of Mezcal. If you've never had Mezcal - have George (one of the bartenders) make you his special drink. It will be a good intro to trying Mezcal without all the smoke of some Mezcals.

Another little fun tidbit is for all you blue point lovers (old restaurant in Wayzata) be on the lookout for their large sign- it's in the restaurant :)

We definitely will be back. Another reviewers mentioned this and I will second, if your at dinner DT Wayzata please know there is a premium you will pay for location. So this is higher priced, but happy hour is a great selection and was reasonable.

Stopped in at the end of happy hour and it has a decent selection although either pricey still or not a lot of food to share; stayed for dinner and the squid appetizer was delicious; the rest of the food was pretty basic but definitely satisfied the craving for Mexican food; good service and even better host

Great place if you like Tequilla drinks and fresh food...which I do! They have a great spin on some classic dishes and a few that are unique to this restaurant. The squid was great! Also loved the scallops I had last time and looking forward to trying the halibut next time. Do yourself a favor and try out Baja Haus for a great time.

We made reservations for a family of 8. We were seated at a table with plenty of space. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We all shared the Squid appetizer and we seemed to all agree it was good as well as the shared corn. I had the Grilled fish tacos and they were outstanding. Another member had the Jambalaya and a few others had the burritos and all enjoyed as well. Will return! Great atmosphere.

You have to get the scallops. The "one bad hombre" drink is amazing! Awesome service. Great job guys! Did I mention to get the scallops?

Our server, Michael, is the best! Every time we are in his section, he is always attentive, friendly, and on point. The Ceviche is my favorite!
