Regatta Inn

Beautiful place! Views were lovely! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Quiet and peaceful. An easy walk to the beach. The bed was incredibly comfortable - so much so my hubby wants to buy one just like it! We really loved our stay.

Just got back from a Girls Trip having stayed at the Regatta and we LOVED it.
Zoe and Paige were both awesome and kind. Not to mention helpful with suggestions.
Took advantage of the Happy Hour they offered while soaking in the incredible views on the terrace.
Beds were comfortable and the place was quiet. Walls are thin, but with no kids (thank you!!!) we didn’t have any issues whatsoever.
Thank you for the hospitality and I’m sure we’ll see y’all again soon. :)

I had my wedding at Regatta Inn earlier this month and it was truly incredible! We rented out the entire inn for our guests and they had the best stay. All of the employees went above and beyond for breakfast, happy hour, and any other needs we had. Shanika and her team made the wedding setup seamless and easy. I would highly recommend Regatta Inn for anyone looking to host their wedding. Thank you again to the wonderful staff for making our dream day such a success!

The room and location were great. There is a nice breakfast with spectacular views from the deck and our room!

This was a lovely experience. What’s ironic is Southern Mag just gave Folley Bch a best place to visit during the winter. Some might consider the inn out of the way but we felt it was perfect. A definite do over for us.

I had my wedding at the Regatta Sept. 16 and it was magical! The staff is wonderful, happy, and kind. Bonnie and her team of coordinators went above and beyond to make the wedding weekend perfect. The location and room were beautiful, and all of our guests keep raving that it was an unforgettable evening at a stunning place.

My husband and I stayed here for our 10tg anniversary and had a wonderful time. There was a hot breakfast every morning that was delicious and great coffee with many other breakfast options to choose from. The happy hour was nicely done. All if the staff were wonderful, especially Paige, Bonnie and Zoe. I can't wait to go back and stay at Regatta Inn!

Perfect location and incredible service. All the people were so friendly and helpful. The view from my balcony was beautiful. I could spend all day watching dolphins out there! I will definitely be back!

Recently back from our stay at this great Inn and already thinking about booking again! The room and location are wonderful. Some of the staff are not so engaged and only put out a half hearted effort BUT the other half...Bonnie and Anna were great. Sue put out amazing fresh fruit! And then there's Ritchie, he is just awesome!! Tons of knowledge about the area, always available and wanting to help. Goes way above and beyond. The good staff make this place someplace you want to come back to.

My husband and i stayed for two nights and everything was wonderful, the staff was so friendly, the breakfast was very good, we loved the views from our room we definitely would love to come back!

This place couldn't be more perfect for a little quiet getaway! My boyfriend and I came here a year ago for a weekend vacation and as soon as we got there we were just in awe. Absolutely beautiful place! The rooms were so comfy, clean, wonderfully decorated and cozy. We had the river view which is great because we saw some dolphins playing and jumping. Even though it rained almost the whole time we still a great time. We were able to relax, shop and try new restaurants then come back and rest. The staff was amazing and they also offer food, drinks, and snacks. We would love to have a weekend getaway again soon!

Regatta Inn is a treasure. Quiet, clean, near the beach. Rooms are so well done and the sunset balcony views are lovely. So glad we found this tucked away spot and we will return.

Nice, relaxing getaway. Cozy rooms, beautiful view. Walking, biking or golf cart distance to the beach and restaurants. The front desk lady was lovely, made sure breakfast and happy hour were set to perfection!

It was a unique and relaxing experience. Breakfast was just right and the happy hour every evening was perfect. We enjoyed our room overlooking the marina! The option to rent bikes directly from the facility was a great perk as well. For a longer stay, I will definitely plan ahead and reserve a licensed golf cart for easy transportation (*Be sure to get a tagged golf cart so you're able to drive it around after 8pm). We would absolutely stay here again!

I’d give them 10 stars if I could. We stayed in the Olympus Suite, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The bed was very plush and comfortable. The entire inn is spotlessly clean. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. They truly go the extra mile here for the guests to have a special experience. The breakfast has continental as well as homemade, hot options. The happy hour has a nice selection of homemade cocktails, wine, beer, and snacks. They offer complimentary golf cart rides to the beach or town. The inn is right on a beautiful marina. We didn’t want to leave. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.

My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago for a spring getaway and had the most wonderful experience. The entire property was stunning. We loved how it was tucked away, so quiet and serene. The staff were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. We adored every minute of our stay here-- from cozy mornings at the yummy breakfast bar, to happy hours on the rooftop watching dolphins. This place is magical! We cannot wait to come back.

My husband and I spent three nights at the Regatta Inn and had a great time! The staff go above and beyond to ensure a great experience and we can’t say enough good things about them. They are very hardworking and great people. Shout out to Melody, Melanie, Paige and Emma for the warm welcome. Beyond the staff the inn is really nice and conveniently located to the beach, and the staff will even cart you to and from the beach if you ask. Definitely a great place to stay on Folly Beach if you get the opportunity!

Incredible experience here! Staff was phenomenal and location is perfect-- on the quiet end of Folly with gorgeous views of the marina. There's a quiet beach about a 5-minute walk away (.3mi) or staff is present 7am-9pm to give you a golf cart ride there (plan to tip!). They also offer cart rides to the restaurant area "downtown"; it's possible to walk or bike (1.5mi) but roads are narrow and there are no sidewalks, and you can expect to pay $10+ for parking. Breakfast was good with a delicious hot option and fresh-baked muffins, along with cereal, bagels, yogurt parfaits, and fruit. Happy hour was also good w/ at least 2 very tasty cocktail options and 2-3 wine selections, plus beer and light snacks (pimento cheese, veggies, pretzels, etc.). They also bake chocolate chip cookies on site, available all day.

Unless management follows through on my feedback, I'd plan to bring a sound machine and maybe some temporary light-blocking curtains (they sell on Amazon) if you're coming for some serious sleep. Our room got very bright in the mornings even w/ curtains and shades drawn. The inn itself is very quiet but the door to each room is immediately off the stairs/hallway, so you can hear people passing by. Our room (Spinnaker) had a private screened-in deck overlooking the marina and it was one of the best parts of our stay, but not every room is set up this way so you’ll want to double-check if this is important to you.

I spent the night before my wedding here and got ready for my wedding with all my bridesmaids. The staff was absolutely incredible. They brought us extra tables for hair and makeup and made sure we had drinks. They made sure the room was perfect for when my husband and I came back. Breakfast was great. The views are breathtaking, and Hannah at the front desk was incredible with communication and making sure that our stay was special. We will be returning!
