There aren’t enough stars to really give credit to this lovely shop. Stopped by in a pinch when we had shoe trouble. Called to confirm that he was available. The gentleman gives it immediately. I will call it ‘Hartford Downtown Urgent Care Shoe Center’ 🙏

Excellent work. He's a craftsman of the first order. I've taken several pairs of well-worn shoes to him over the past several years -- sneakers, leather oxfords, "office casual" shoes, Teva sandals -- and he's repaired them to extend their life by years. Money well spent.

I have had many projects done here. He is truly an "Old World Craftsman". He does not just repair shoes but many other items. I Am Always totally satisfied. I have been a client since 2001. I work in the theater industry and his work is First Class. The quality and price are more than satisfactory.

The first time I went, he had to tell me my shoes were beyond saving! But thanks to his explanations I learned to bring in my other shoes sooner, and know what to look for in future shoe purchases too.
When I did bring in my other shoes, his work was excellent and the prices more than fair. The heels he replaced are lasting longer than the manufacturer's original!

I usually don't leave reviews, but I was so impressed by the craft and workmanship of the cobbler at Felix shoe repair that I just had to share it with others. I had soles and heels replaced on two of my Oxford shoes. After a beautiful shoe shine the shoes looked exactly like the day I took them out of a box, except that now they are well broken it and fit me perfectly. My wife also had heels replaced on 3 of her shoes and couldn't be happier. The prices are fair and the service was fast. So happy I found this place.

Wow I am so impressed by this shoe repair shop. The owner was very reasonably priced & more importantly, his work was impeccable! I highly recommend him! My poor shoes were falling apart and when I received them back they looked like they were brand new shoes. I couldn’t believe it! Everyone should go to him! He was friendly and helpful and professional!

I have been using shoe repair services of Felix Shoe Repair in Hartford for more than 5 years for minor and major repairs of stitching and sole replacing or re-gluing work boots. Owner is knowledgeable, personable and always completes a job on time as promised and at reasonable cost.

I was amazed by the performance done at Felix shoe repair. The owner did a splendid job. I highly recommend to everyone since this place is one of the best in the Hartford area. I will definitely return after the good service I was given.
