FANTASTIC experience!! We were lucky to get a tour with this place. Went out in 30 degree blowing-snow weather, but had such a great time with our guide Trey that we weren’t even thinking about it! We were given all of the gear we needed, he brought us hand and toe warmers, brought water, and as we were walking he kept checking to make sure we were doing alright. Trey helped us across the rocks and made a path for us and our truck! He was the full-service package! We were able to catch fish but the experience was so much more than catching fish. Adam was the only one in the shop, and it was busy, but made sure we were taken care of and set out tour up. Thank you both. We will be buying gift cards to give our family the same experience, and we’ll be back to learn more in the summer.

These guys do a great job of stocking hard to find items for hunting, items I can’t even find in ANY of the big box stores between Salt Lake City and Grand Junction. It’s also great to support local, and if you’re bowhunter, they have an indoor range and techs on hand to get you dialed in. Highly recommended, knowledgeable staff!

Broke my arrows in the field on my first elk hunt not only did they have what I needed but even tho the techs were all hunting they allowed me to fetch my own arrows! Was from out of commission to ready in an hr and they were beyond reasonable priced

Stopped by to check it out. Way better experience than your big box stores. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. With a supply of ammo that will surprise you. The Go to spot in Glennwood Springs.

Definitely recommend this place. My wife and I really enjoyed our first fly fishing experience for our anniversary. Our guide Cam was professional, competent, kind, attentive, and all around superb!

Love the indoor range! Me and my bestie love going to shoot our recurves here, and the guys on staff are always super friendly! Also shoutout to their awesomely helpful archery tech!

I went into Glenwood outdoors to get setup with fly fishing gear. Completely new to this I was confused and unsure. The two guys working there helped me out tremendously! Aiden had incredible knowledge on what to start with and not break the bank. He worked with me and so did a guy named Erik. Which was also super helpful. Overall, great experience and it was so nice to have help!!

Salesmen were super friendly as soon as we walked in. They were super helpful with any questions we had and made me want to return, especially if I need any fishing gear. They had an open and clean bathroom as well which a lot of stores in this area don’t have. If you need outdoor things (especially fishing) this is the place to go!

We wandered in on a whim to see if we could get a fly fishing float trip for the next day. Adam was behind the counter and was friendly and extremely helpful. He got us hooked up with a half day float for the very next day with Cam. We had the absolute best time with Cam and caught 15 fish between us. Great shop staffed by great people! Don't hesitate to go in, they'll take care of you.

Went in to the store with a new rod and reel outfit and no knowledge of fly fishing. I needed tackle and full rigging for my fly and spinning reel. Adam took care of me and was truly amazing. It is very apparent that this is his passion. He did not try to take advantage of the fact that I did not have much knowledge and was basically willing to purchase whatever he told me to. He spent almost an hour with me, putting together a package to get me out there and get some good beginner experience to learn on and build from. He even gave me a quick basic lesson in the parking lot on casting and the various items I purchased. He truly went above and beyond and I can’t recommend Adam and this place enough! Very well stocked and inventoried with everything you need for fishing and hunting and sporting.

Saturday evening I had my string come off my bow and I was scrambling to find a place to get it put back on so that I could get back in the woods. I got in touch with Glenwood Springs Outdoors and the customer service I received was top notch. They told me that they closed at 8pm and would wait for me, so they could get me back in the woods. I drove the two hours, not sure what kind of a shop I was walking into, but my options were limited. Walking into the store, I knew I was in good hands. The place is stocked with everything you could possibly need in the outdoors, from fishing, archery, ammo, etc. After fixing my bow, they had me head downstairs to shoot in their awesome archery range to make sure I was good to go before heading back to the woods. Thanks again! If Im ever in the area again, Ill definitely be stopping in.

Can’t say enough about this establishment, first off they are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to help you with what your looking for. They are also Veteran friendly and made me feel really appreciated. Cam, who is their bow technician is an extremely kind and generous human being. His attention to detail as well as knowledge base and service is something I haven’t seen in a very long time. He even came in when it was his day off just to help me with some of my bow issues. Our family enjoys their down stairs archery range. Highly recommend this place

We are visiting from Minnesota and happened to stop in at this store! We met Katie and Adam and they were so incredibly nice. Here we got some great fishing gear and my daughter is in love with her new hat! We’d definitely stop here again!!

These guys are seriously freaking awesome. They were slammed with business all morning and the bow tech wasn’t even in, but the manager made time to fit me in for a bow tuning. He let me shoot, made sure I was happy with the result, and even threw in a couple of extras for me. The first responder discount discount helped a ton.

Awesome staff
I went in there and Adam took care of me, I broke a rod while fishing, I brought it in there and he helped me get the warranty for the new rod. Adam felt bad that my rod broke( even though they had nothing to do with it) so he hooked me up with a new rod at an awesome price…I’m glad we have a store like this in glenwood, friendly staff and tons of awesome high quality products.

These guys went above and beyond helping me out with a crossbow problem in a pinch. They are awesome and I personally wish every business had this standard. Go check them out. They have an awesome shop, great selection, and pretty damn cool swag too. Thank you so much boys!!!!!!

Cool guys working in the shop. Very personal feel and extremely helpful in making sure you get what you're looking for. Cam turned my bowstring replacement around in two days. Reasonably priced and knowledgeable staff. Hope this shop takes off as things re-open!

Excellent service, I can’t say enough good things about the place. Eric went out of his way to help a couple of “out of towners” find everything they needed for a day of fly fishing. Then proceeded to give advice on good locations to check out. Genuinely can’t beat the customer service and friendly environment. 10/10.

Amazing find! The archery range in the basement was a huge hit with our 11 year old- he spent an hour down there shooting at all the different animals! The staff was fabulous and very accommodating, recommend a 10 out of 10!
