This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It was so nice we came back! Belle at the front desk accommodated our room request graciously. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and the lobby had a fireplace and lots of comfortable furniture. Very close to town. I just walked over the bridge by the hot springs.

Excellent! BEST free breakfast buffet I have ever had at a hotel! I was so impressed! They even had a fountain drink coke machine! I was so happy to be able to wake up and drink a coke, as I am not a coffee person but I need caffeine! They have real eggs, which my husband was happy about. A lot of hotels have those nasty fake powder eggs. They have this really good sauce to go with the chips that my daughter was nuts over. Don’t know how to explain what it is, but hope they don’t ever get rid of it. Lots of people went up for seconds and I heard other people comment about how good it was, too. They also had salsa. Yes… at breakfast! They also had all the usual staples like fruit and yogurt, bagels, muffins, waffles, cereal, sausage, etc. Nice coffee selection and hot chocolate. I will say it again- breakfast is great! Just the breakfast alone was worth the stay here!

Location- great!!! Lots of things within walking distance! There is a Mexican restaurant literally next door, several other shops to wonder around if you feel like browsing (most not open in the evening) and several restaurants, bars and hot springs all within walking distance.

Take a walk a little farther past the hot springs and check out the Jamaican restaurant! Their wings were delicious and the waitress was super helpful and was willing to serve us even though we came in shortly before close.

The only downside to the hotel was the parking. The parking is free, but may be limited depending on time of day. We came in around 7:30 PM and were able to get a spot without a wait, but I noticed after we came back from walking around town a little after 10 PM that the parking lot looked completely packed. If you arrive too late on the weekend when they tend to be busy, it may be hard to find a parking spot.

The rooms were typical of most LaQuinta hotels, the bathrooms were a little smaller than typical. The beds were comfortable. However, pillows could be better. They should replace those with softer and fluffier ones. The rooms were clean and no odors. We had a nice view of the mountains from our window. We stayed in room 331 and I didn’t hear anyone or notice the walls being thin. We slept well.

The pool is very small and is probably more for lounging than swimming- it is small and only 4 foot at the deepest part. Kids still enjoyed it, but it was way too crowded at night. We were able to enjoy the pool in the morning before we left, though. We did have to get an employee to let us in the pool, because the card didn’t work. The employee said it was because we were checking out the same day. My husband and son used the workout room (right beside the pool) and it was decent and had a water dispenser and cups, which was nice after a workout.

Pros:
1. Wonderful breakfast
2. Great location
3. Nice view of the mountains from hotel
4. Reasonable price
5. Comfortable beds
6. Decent gym
7. Indoor pool and hot tub
8. Inside of hotel very nice with tall coffered ceilings with fireplace in the entry and lots of seating for either lounging or breakfast
9. Clean!

Cons:
1. Parking limited
2. Indoor Pool VERY small (4 foot max)
3. Bathrooms very small
4. Pillows not the best
5. Dim florescent type lighting in the hallways- suggestion for the hotel: if you change it to warm bulbs instead of the white cool bulbs, it will feel nicer and will have more of an intimate glow. The white light at hotels just has a creepy feel in my opinion.
6. Elevator to the gym and pool was broken, so had to use the employee elevator. It was very rickety and make a lot of noise.

Overall, this was the nicest LaQuinta I have ever been to. It felt several steps up from most LaQuinta Hotels- closer to a Marriott. I will give it 4 and half stars because of limited parking and broken elevator. However, since I can’t do a half star, will go ahead and bump it up to 5 stars on account of the fabulous breakfast, coke machine, and great location in town.

Nice up to date hotel are room was clean nice large TV large fridge and even a microwave. Front desk was friendly we stayed off season week day so the price was good and included a nice hot breakfast. Hotel is a ten minutes or less walking to the hot springs pool entrance. The pool is indoors is very small same for the hot tub but we had it to ourselves when we went down to it. I would stay there again

We booked a weekend here. To go biking on the river trail, and because it’s dog friendly also it’s a great location their breakfast is the bomb! Didn’t expect expect to have so much options. And the front desk lady are way cool!! I would totally recommend. But keep in mind there are a lot of dogs here.

Breakfast, Breakfast, Breakfast, Breakfast
Toast, Yogurt, Waffles, Breakfast
Best Breakfast with perfect choices
It rules this day
Eggs, Potatoes, Oat Meal, Bacon
It’s okay if you want them all
Juice or Milk, I want it
Any Breakfast my way

You rule, you’re starting your day
At LaQuinta, have it your way
You rule.

All Jokes aside, best breakfast I’ve had from a hotel. 5/5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great Location for skiing Aspen, hit Iron Mountain Hot Springs while you’re there too.

The hotel rooms are clean and it’s centrally located. Angel at the front desk was so welcoming and handled a group of very rude guests with graces and professionalism. She even brought over welcome dog treats for our two dogs.

Very nice rooms and clean. Stayed 3 nights and had a very good time. Great restaurant next door and awesome breakfast and pet friendly. Heard a few dogs over night, but we love dogs.

We had an emergency overnight stay due to wildfires and was overjoyed with this find! It is a truly pet-friendly hotel. The remodel was amazing and beautiful. Modern and sleek. Even though it's convenient to the highway it's quiet. The breakfast is amazing. Staff was super nice even with a line of rude folks also trapped on the western slope. Highly recommend!

This room was great for my wife and I! Breakfast was wonderful, lots of different options and they offer military discounts which helped us save a little extra!

Right off I-70 on the frontage road and smack next to Village Inn, this La Quinta welcomed us with the sight of a Christmas tree up front, and a roaring fireplace sitting-area to enjoy before we retired. Desk staff was friendly, just a bit hard to understand due to her accent. Long long walk thru echoing halls to find our room, but it was a cozy and modern king room, perfect for one night. Big tv, hurray—comfy bed and pillows and a very swank bathroom. Could have had a couple more outlets by the bed that were more easily accessed. Parking was a bit unclear but we figured it out. Breakfast had everything you could want and a few extras like Nutella for toast or waffles. Eating area was not very cozy but spacious. A very good value in pricey Glenwood. I’d stay here again

Angel at the front desk was amazing! We’ve stayed here a couple times with our dogs and it’s very close to everything! Complementary breakfast has lots of options. Will be back!

Stayed only one night. Was very satisfied with everything. Breakfast is not bad either. Just what you would expect. But I was very surprised and happy with my room. Parking was close by. I had forgotten an item after my departure and was successfully able to retrieve it from them. Once you update the showerheads in all rooms, I believe you can start charging more too. That would be my only negative feedback.

I've always maintained that La Quinta is the best chain hotel in my usual price range and this visit did not disappoint. Prices are overall not low in this beautiful Valley but I swear this is the nicest La Quinta I've been to and the breakfast was 10/10. Staff was responsive to requests and all really really friendly. Will come again!

I left some fairly valuable items in my room. I called a few hours after I was out of town and the staff promptly checked the room, found the items and mailed them to me the next day. They go above and beyond for their guests. Rooms were clean and there was a good variety of food for breakfast. Not just apples and oatmeal! Highly reccomend.

Hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to downtown, cable car, or hot springs. I loved the breakfast. They had all the ingredients for chilaquiles (chips, potatoes, eggs, roasted jalapeƱos, green chili). The green chili was excellent, better than most Mexican restaurants. Rooms are nice size and the bed is comfortable. I’d stay again just to have the breakfast!!

Rooms were clean and updated (if I hadn't booked it and knew what hotel it was, I would have thought we were at Best Western or Holiday Inn.) The breakfast was good, and had plenty of items to choose from.

Our second time around!
We have stayed here before a couple of years ago and really enjoyed our stay. So as we were heading back home from month long western road trip, we decided to overnite here again. We were happy to see that things were still the same. We felt very welcomed and the room we had was very nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel is a little older but appears to be pretty well maintained. The lobby area is huge and open concept. The breakfast is served downstairs and because we drove for a very long day to arrive, and we went to the mineral springs to relax that evening. We slept in and never made the breakfast. The time we stayed here a couple of years ago it was really good, I have no reason to think that anything has changed. The only thing that is a challenge is the parking at this hotel. If you get checked early in the day you may want to keep that great parking spot and either walk or grab an Uber. The downtown area filled with restaurants is definitely walkable. The other option is the cute Cafe right next door to the hotel and is very good option. We had dinner there this visit and our last visit we had breakfast and dinner!
The hotel is very close to almost everything, especially the lift going up the mountain to the many things to do up there. We didn't make it on either of our visits but we will next time.
We will be back on our next adventure to stay again, it feels like home to us.
What I have learned, if a place is comfortable and we like being there, don't pass it up.

Between Iron Mountain and downtown. Solid rooms, the best free breakfast you can find. Clean. We love this place when we visit.

The breakfast had everything you want and more. It was hot, and tasty. The rooms were quiet and very clean. Shower was hot.
