The hotel is beautiful inside and out.
The courtyard is nicely lit up at night. Walking distance from about everything. Lots of local, interesting history spread throughout the hotel. The staff have been courteous and helpful. Our room is plain yet comfy with old school charm.

We had such a great time staying at Hotel Colorado. The entire staff was excellent, however Ryan stood out amongst them all. He was so pleasant the night we came in and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. We honestly thought he was a manager due to his in depth knowledge about the hotel, and the pride he took in performing his job. We will definitely be back.

We had a Valentine’s Day reservation at Hotel colorado, but decided to dine earlier than our reservation. We went to the Hotel bar where we met Ashley E, what exceptional service, and such a kind, bubbly personality. 11/10 recommend, go pop in and give her a visit, she will not disappoint you. She was running the whole bar by herself, as well as making drinks for the restaurant, and never had a single delay in getting our drinks or food out to us. With a smile on her face too, I might add. The food was delicious, we had the prime rib, and my husband had the ribeye. The dessert could have been better, but still good . We had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon. We are staying at the hotel next-door and hope to stay at the Hotel Colorado next time as it is a beautiful hotel and the food is delicious and the service is outstanding.

WOW! We cannot express how phenomenal this stay was. From the second we walked in, to the minute we left! Ashley the bartender and Jeremy the server were ABOVE and BEYOND! Amazing food, wonderful drinks, great service, and amazing experience! Even the bellhop, Dane, went out of his way to show us a FULL tour of every beautiful room! Because of this, we upgraded to the Molly Brown Suite and were NOT disappointed. It was gorgeous! We are already planning our next trip there with the kids. Thank you for making my 30th the best birthday and for giving us the best experience we have EVER had! We both, cannot stop raving about how extraordinary this stay was!

Every staff member, every meal, and every activity was meticulously planned, leaving me feeling cherished and utterly relaxed. Beautiful historic building just off the river. The decor is preserved in a classic Victorian style with a really lovely outside bar and seating area. Prices are on the higher end but that does make a certain amount of sense given the location and building itself. The rooms were nice though not particularly high end. I understand the whole building preserves the historic feel, but I still prefer to not shower in a narrow bathtub with a shower curtain.

This was our second time staying at Hotel Colorado with our pups and our visits never disappoint! The staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel restaurant and bar are wonderful, and they’ve done an incredible job of modernizing the hotel while maintaining its historical charm. We’ve only ever visited in the winter and were lucky enough to catch the tail end of their Christmas lights this visit but we hope to come back in the summer.

Very cool hotel close to everything. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was great at the bar/restaurant. Staff was friendly and attentive, Price was very fair, Parking is in a lot right across the street from the hotel. The only thing we found strange was the lack of a thermostat in our room. Luckily, the window opened, and there was a ceiling fan, so we were able to keep the room cool for sleeping.

130 year old hotel with excellent service. The hotel has recently been renovated but you need to appreciate that is still a hundred and thirty years old. Amazing history amazing views and the hot spring pool is located right across the street. As an absolute must. Teddy Roosevelt spend several months here and the hotel was frequently visited by The unsinkable Molly Brown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the historic value of the hotel.

Love the ambiance of this historic hotel. They have somewhat recently redone the rooms. They look fantastic while still retaining the historic character we love. We always grab our first cocktail and sit in the courtyard while enjoying the view. We’re able to park the car and walk to hot springs and restaurants. I don’t care for the new parking fee they’re now imposing but what’re you gonna do. The midweek packages with pool passes and breakfast are an amazing deal.

Excellent hotel! John at the front desk and Summer at the restaurant are both welcoming and accommodating. Our rooms were very nice, with modern touches and a beautiful view of the mountains on the west side of the hotel. The hotel was well decorated for Christmas, and had great accommodations such as a water station.

I proposed to my girlfriend on New Year’s Eve in the front of the Hotel near the fountain. I had communicated with the staff ahead of time that this was going to happen and to keep things a secret when we checked in. Our entire experience was wonderful. Ryan and Joy Ann at the front desk went above and beyond to make this a special trip for the two of us. A bellman named Thomas was kind enough to take a few photos for us. We quickly found out he is a photographer and had his professional camera with him! We asked for a few phone photos and ended up with a selection of amazing professional shots. Thank you, Thomas! Glenwood has long been one of our most special places to visit and after our engagement, and the great staff at Hotel Colorado, we’ll have beautiful memories for the rest of our lives. Thank You!

We stayed for a night to just get away. The Christmas decorations were amazing, the bar tender was so friendly and fun. The decor and feel of the place takes you back in time. It was very nice.

We had such a great stay. We love the location and the outdoor bar and restaurant was perfect for are group of ten. We had our dog along and he also had a lovely stay. We had a standard King room and it had plenty of room. The Bathroom was huge but, it could use additional towel bars and we would have preferred a walk in shower.

We stayed at the Hotel Colorado from Dec 27-29th and really a historic and amazing hotel. Great location close to the Glenwood Hot Springs pool and beautiful Christmas decorations in the lobby and front of the hotel. Wonderful staff throughout the hotel but in particular I would like to recognize Luis who handled our check in. I had originally booked the “swim and ski” package but at check in decided to change to “swim” only plus add breakfast. Luis did a really great job making these last-minute changes for me and I certainly appreciate his effort and professionalism to make the check in process go so smoothly and get out Hotel Colorado stay off to a great start.

Great experience. It's a beautiful hotel in a good location with lots of history. Nice courtyard with bar and firepits. The room itself (classic king) is nothing too fancy, but was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space in ours along with a huge bathroom, though it seems from other reviews that the layout and size can vary greatly from one room to the next. Keep in mind: this is a very old hotel, so don't come expecting the room to match a modern 4-star property. There was no fridge or microwave in the room, the A/C is a temporary window unit plus a ceiling fan, and heating is a steam radiator. There was a Keurig in the room, as well as a large flat screen TV.

We paid the $15 parking fee and didn't have any issues finding spots. However, if I were to stay longer I might look for a free parking option within walking distance instead of paying the daily fee.

For the room price paid, i think it was a good value; maybe not for the room by itself, but combined with the overall hotel experience, customer service, package deal (included two breakfasts and hot springs passes for an additional $80), restaurant quality, lobby/common areas, and the courtyard, it was a fair price. I would go back.
