Glenwood Canyon Resort

Amazing stay! Once we found this gem we won’t stay in hotels in the area ever again. Rented a cabin and it is perfect for our needs. Slept 4 and with a kitchen and loft this is a cozy way to experience Glenwood. Clean grounds and accommodations. The views here are incredible, right next to the river and easy access to the highway. 10/10

This is our families first stop as we start living in the motorhome. We have a 40 foot unit with a trailer and this camp was the first place I've ever taken it. I broke a cardinal rule and arrived after dark. I was having a difficult time but staff did not hesitate to help. They stayed helpful and friendly the entire time. The restrooms were clean and the water stayed warm. I am glad this was our first stop and will be back if we ever go back that way. I definitely suggest this stop.

This is our second time camping alongside the river at Glenwood Canyon Resort. Nothing like it. You get the beauty of nature but the facilities to keep your stay comfortable. We like to camp on sites 25 - 30. They are right along the water tent camping sites. We use a rooftop tent and these are perfect. The stairs to the bathroom are right behind you as well as water to fill up anything you need for your trip. One of my favorite things is when the trains pass by. It's beautiful and if you catch the conductor, he will toot the horn for you.
The staff is amazing. Kevin has been there each time we camp. He's always ensured we're in the right spot for our set-up.

A bonus: You're so close to Glenwood Springs. Restaurants, hot springs & shopping. We LOVE passing through and will continue to do so whenever we're in the area

We have been to many resorts and this one tops them all, it is so beautiful, from the amazing views and all the great things to do in the resort and the surrounding areas. Kevin Peterson runs the resort and is the greatest person to work with, from getting you an RV spot or one of the many great cabins in the resort. He will make sure all your needs are met for a great stay. When you leave you will feel like you have known him your whole life. So if you are thinking of booking your stay, do wait you will love it!

My husband and I are doing a cross country trip from Maryland. We are in route back home and stumbled upon this campground. We spent two nights here and enjoyed every minute of the campground and it’s beautiful scenery. Kevin gave us some wonderful recommendations of activities and dining around town. We had the best time. This is by far one of the nicest places we’ve stayed since being on the road for 20 days.

My husband and I have stayed at the Glenwood Canyon Resort a handful of times by ourselves. This time, we came to celebrate New Years Eve with a couple of friends. We stayed in a Pet Friendly - Resort Cabin, and it was incredible.
First of all, when I initially called to make the reservation about a week and half before our stay, I spoke with Angela on the phone. She thoroughly answered all of my questions and gave me a quote. When I told her I needed to speak with our friends before I could book it, she let me know it was close to closing time, but gave me her work cell number so I could get ahold of her after hours.
When I did finally call her back, it was late at night and over the Christmas weekend, she still took the time to text me back and write down my information to call me the following Tuesday to finalize it. Then, of course, we got caught in bad traffic on our way up and didn't arrive until after the office closed. But she put our keys in the cabin and made sure the heat and lights were on and ready for us to move in. What I'm saying is that every step of the way of making this reservation, Angela was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to make the stay as easy as possible.

As far as the lodging, we normally stay in the cottages (which are amazing themselves), but like I said, this time, we stayed in a Resort Cabin. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware, and cookware. There was lots of storage for food, clothing, and everything else, and it was plenty roomy for 4 adults, 1 large breed, and 1 giant breed dog. The river that runs through the back end of the resort is always a sight to see!
And finally: the location of this resort is perfect. It's off the No Name exit, tucked away in the trees, so it's a bit secluded, very quiet and peaceful! The best part of its location is that it's not more than 5-10 minutes from downtown Glenwood. So it's just a blink of your eye to go from your secluded lodging to restaurants, shops, hot springs, Vapor Caves, the adventure park or anything else you'd do in town.

Thank you Angela for helping us put together a great little get away! Glenwood Canyon Resort is the ONLY place we will stay when we are up here and we tell everyone we know to do the same thing 😊

This is one of the coolest spots on the Colorado River to camp. Beautiful to see and close to Glennwood Springs. It has everything to include immaculately maintained campgrounds. Kevin and his staff are incredible &, knowledgeable people I so appreciate what they did for me My 2750 mile journey here was so worth it!

Such a beautiful resort along the river. The cabins are decorated super cute with comfy beds. So many fun things nearby.
We are looking forward to our next visit.

I have never spent over $100 for a campground until Glenwood Canyon Resort.

Kevin was a great host. In my office, we promote ownership in the company. Kevin has this down. After check-in and set up he stopped by the campsite to check on us and answered questions. He checked in again after we got back from our bike ride.

Wish I could clone him and put him to work at the Sheriff’s Office.

We stayed here a week ago for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. It was relaxing with amazing views. We were lucky enough to get a site right on the river in the Sprinter Village. I highly recommend this location - even if it is just for one night during a cross country drive.

Our camper van, fortuitously, broke down near the entrance of the Glenwood Canyon Resort. The Resort staff were very helpful in finding us a mechanic to have a look at the van; however, nothing could be done on the day. This circumstance then afforded us the opportunity to book an available cabin at the Resort, spend a delightful afternoon until sunset at the 'beach' along the beautiful Colorado River and have delicious hot showers in the sparkling clean bathhouse on the grounds afterward. We slept the sleep of the dead that night in the peaceful, quietness of the Resort ready to deal with 'the issue' in the morning. We're finding it difficult not to think of 'the issue' as the best thing that happened to us that day because we spent a delightful day and night at Glenwood Canyon Resort! Thanks, GCR staff for all your help!

We found this place by chance and it is probably one of my favorite places in CO. The place is keep incredibly clean. The bike trail along the water can take you directly to town is beautiful. There is a river rafting place right on site. The quaint little town is super close. There are so many options to choose from. You can RV camp, tent camp by the water, you can rent cabins or glam camp. Again, this is one of my favorite places!

Amazing staff! Clean bathrooms and cabins! Best fishing spot by the river! This is a must stay for families as well as couples and singles! Our family has been there twice this summer and we always leave wishing we had one more night! Then we plan our next visit! Thank you Glenwood Canyon Resort for all the amazing memories

We just brought 65 singles to the Glenwood Canyon Resort for a fun camping vacation. It was awesome. Everyone raved about how beautiful the resort was and how much fun they had! Had the pleasure of calling this home for 3 months for work. Loved it. Easy access to town, hot springs, fishing, and the river. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

Met some family here for a weekend in Glenwood Springs. We rented one of the little cabins. It was very clean and had a great kitchen with what we needed to make a simple breakfast every morning. Slept a small family of five perfectly and staff was very friendly.

I've been here twice now - once for a corporate retreat, and once to celebrate my 40th birthday with friends! We went white water rafting, hiking, visited the hot springs, went to an amusement park on top of a mountain with rides that dangle you out over a 1000 foot drop, and we enjoyed fine dining in town, which is only 5 minutes drive away! My visit exceeded my expectations and I'm going back in a few months with more family members! They just recently remodeled all their cabins and suites, so I'm excited to see the updates!

This RV resort is ideally located, clean, well managed and easy access. Loved our 3 night RV stay here and thoroughly enjoyed the Glenwood Springs area!
