Dr. Sandhya Shukla, MD

Dr.Shukla is one of the best physicians I have had the pleasure of interacting with. She has an incredible patient and kind manner and she communicates well. I highly recommend Dr. Shukla!!!

A rare thing to find is a doctor who has genuine empathy and care for their patients. Especially a new one. Highest level of professionalism as well. Handled my procedures perfectly with no discomfort whatsoever which was much appreciated in comparison with other doctors.

Dr Sandhya Shukla is the best gastro doctor I've ever seen. I'd been going to Dr. Collier for years and totally not impressed no bedside manner and she tried to do an endoscopy on me with an adult size tube after me and my gyn both said it won't fit down my throat i'm very small and petite and was choking on food, she knocked me out and tried two sizes and couldn't shove either down and rec. I see a specialist that my throat was so small I was gonna die !!
After scaring me to death I saw a specialist and he said to see a different gastro dr. And My daughter a nurse rec Dr. Shukla and she is the nicest and sweetest doctor I've ever seen, she said she would do it with a neonatal tube and she did and she stretched my throat a little and she changed my life so I could swallow normal. She is so amazing she gave me a special diet for my acid reflux disease she took throat and stomach biopsies for my piece of mind. I just love her and also Dara the nurse at Jersey Shore endoscopy suite. Not something I want to rec. lol... but if you have to get it done Dr. Shukla is amazing and her and Dara my nurse at the endo place made the whole procedure tolerable and my fears were calmed because of their loving care. If I have to do it again I would with Dr. Shukla knowing that she makes it a piece of cake and she's def. the best at her craft! God Bless Her! And Dara!

For almost 2 years and countless specialists, Dr. Shukla found out what was going on. I met her once before she did 2 procedures on me today and I can't say enough about her and how thankful I am to have met her!

Got rushed into er had to have emergency endo because food was stuck in my throat she did amazing job and now she will be only doctor I will see. She deserves 10 stars but they only let me do 5
