Walgreens Pharmacy

I called - in person- to ask if the stock a specific generic “manufacturer” of a medication, I have been on, for few years and my old pharmacy has recently switched to a different generic that upsets my stomach and bowels (as I have had bowel and colon resection with a history of kidney failure as well, thus being very sensitive to inactive ingredients in medications), I was denied to be given information.

The person who answered the call was very rude and told me that they are not supposed to give information about medication, to customers! Well, I needed to know this piece of info., before my provider could send the prescription to a pharmacy that stocks the same exact only generic that doesn’t upset my stomach!!!

Luckily, I could find a MORE PROFESSIONAL pharmacy that could give me the same information, with no problem, as it is- certainly- the patient’s right to be informed about any medication details before he picks up.

I came to the walgreens at 2990 bay road in saginaw to get my covid 19 vaccine. While I was in the store, someone walked in and stood in line at the pharmacy without a mask and no one said anything to him or asked him to leave. While in the store I also saw 2 other people, including an employee, whose masks were not covering their noses.
How can Walgreens claim to be helping end the pandemic when they aren't even enforcing the most basic safety precautions in a location where COVID cases are extremely high?
