I heard about your cafe from a local woman who, despite my lack of experience, is obsessed with your charcoal latte.
We stopped to enjoy the sight. And the flavor that we got was an enjoyable delight.
Given that I purely enjoy strong, black coffee, I felt that the latte was a little too sweet. still pleasant.
The cuisine was also rather good. I hope to see better quality products yet.

On a beautiful sunny morning, this place is a vibe. But with a walk-up counter and about 2 seats total in the interior, there's not much to be done if the weather's not favoring you. That being said if the weather is good and you're looking for a charming place for a brunch, or even just a cup of coffee with friends, this is such a charming little place. Recommend the charcoal latte.

While at port, we stopped by this cute little place for our first cup of coffee of the day. We were greeted with a friendly smile! We ordered 2 cold brews and an ube bread. The flavor of the cold brew was fantastic, with a nice smooth flavor. The ube bread was recommended by the staff, so we gave it a try, it was also really good, highly recommend it! The ambiance of the spot was very mellow and laid back. The little birds were a sweet sight to watch while enjoying or coffee and treat. (The Lego Ukulele in the photo is ours)

While galavanting through Honolulu, we stumbled across Arvo Cafe. A cute little cafe located in a busy shopping center. The ambiance was very tranquil with the business offering both an indoor and outdoor experience.

The menu was fun with great-looking drinks and food options. They also had a special menu. As one of their specialty drinks was catching my eye, I had to retract and go with their charcoal latte. Can you believe, I have NEVER had a charcoal latte before. Since I was in Hawaii, I figured this would be the best time to try it. I’m glad I did! It was great! The color was fun and it was definitely giving. It was delicious! I'm glad I went for it.

Arvo Cafe is in a little storefront in the center of the Salt Kaka’ako shopping district. There is plenty of exterior seating with umbrellas. Their coffee is better than average and so is the food & service. They have to recruit only the prettiest baristas in town, it’s undeniable. I get my coffee to go and enjoy walking around the shops or sit inside somewhere with A/C. Recommend whenever I’m in Kaka’ako 🤙🏼

Ideal location situated in the center of SALT Kaka’ako shopping plaza, ARVO Cafe always provides great service from the prettiest baristas! The best coffee in this area and plenty of outdoor seating & music. All drinks are in disposable to-go cups and the food looks delicious as well. Recommend if you’re looking for a drink to have while shopping!

Had the egg sandwich and the ricotta sandwich which were delicious charcoal coffee was great and the lavender would recommend

The staff were super friendly! Their espresso (from Sight Glass in San Francisco) was pretty good. Definitely not over extracted. My partner ordered the lavender latte which had a very strong lavender flavor. Almost too strong. We also split the ricotta toast which was awesome! Overall, would highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious! The salad and lemonade are my favorite. Seating is all outside (most of it shaded) but they also have a to go option. The bathrooms are shared with all of the shops in the area so you will need to ask for the code. Garage parking is also validated.

I still dream of the grilled halloumi burger here. It’s the best veggie burger/sandwich I’ve had in a long time! It has all the best ingredients— so so so worth it 💯 My friends all loved what they ordered. Their cold brew was sooooo delightful too. Definitely coming back.

Located within the Salt restaurant area in Kakaako, great cafe for breakfast! Upscale seating area and small retail area to purchase logo apparel. Absolutely love this breakfast toast items, especially this smoked salmon toast: thick slices of bread, layered with cream cheese, fresh smoked salmon, covered with capers and red onions! High end La Marzocco espresso machine, which produces wonderful lattes. Love their cafe mocha, beautiful foam drizzle, perfect flavor (for me, not too sweet).

Very cute spot, delicious food. Bread was super fluffy, the halloumi burger was incredible especially the tomato jam on it. Salmon toast was awesome.

Arvo sticks to the very basics. There are fruit bowls and granola, avocado toast and tonics. There’s even homemade ricotta and nutella with coconut. 🥥 And it all shows up to your outside table looking like it’s been run through a paid app filter. But once you actually start eating, you realize the food isn’t just pretty, it’s pretty damn good. 🏝

Stumbled across this place by accident. Great staff and loved the food. Ham and cheese toastie was delicious (I want another one). My partner’s meatball sandwich was amazing and let me tell you about the chamomile mint tea vanilla shaker was light and fresh. Will definitely be back.

Very cute outdoor cafe that plays 80's music, has wooden tables decorated with wild flowers and water is offered to all customers. Avocado toast was just delicious I skipped on tomatoes and coffee tasted great as well. Clean ,good services we will definitely be back.

This place has no joke the best loaded avocado toast i've ever had. I eat it regularly at home so i know when something is special it's so so worth it. The drinks are super good to. The people who work there are so nice and the presentation is amazing.

One of the best small coffee shops in Honolulu. Aussie-owned ("arvo", get it? Except they are open in the mornings), so yes, you CAN get vegemite toast here.

Lovely outdoor seating. Very limited indoor seating. Shares a space with the Paiko flower shop. Often a line starting around 10 o'clock, so get there early if you can.

Definitely spring for the loaded avocado toast, the smoked salmon toast, the lavender latte. It might seem pricey for toast, but no, it's not just toast. Food quality is good, shop is clean, and portions of higher-priced items are generous. Expect the full quarter pound or so of very decent quality smoked salmon on your salmon toast. Food is served on wooden planks, so um, those capers? Yeah, they'll roll, so be prepared to lose a few or grab a fork and knife at the front. Edible flowers garnish most dishes. Beautiful presentation, though often very messy. Order inside, get your table marker, grab an outdoor table, and they will bring the food out to you. Grab extra napkins at the front or bring your own small bag of hand wipes. You'll need them.

Cuppa comes with coffee art, but not obnoxious or interferes with the flavor. Matcha latte is very strong here. If you're looking for a watered-down Starbucks version, go there. They do slow cold filtered coffee here that is very very good.

I remember when this cafe first moved into Salt a few years ago. Since then they've added to the menu, renovated, moved locations and added a beautiful energy to the Salt at Kakaako location

There is lots of outdoor seating, few options for indoor seating. If you're planning to go during sunny hours , try to get a shaded/umbrella covered table because not all of them have coverage

Suggest trying the Charcoal Latte or Lavender Latte (on ice or hot). It's unique and delicious!

The fruit+ricotta cheese toast is delicious as well as the avocado toast!
