This place is absolutely charming, with an exceptional selection of inventory. My girlfriend and I eagerly anticipate our annual summer visits to Highlands, where we can explore their delightful new offerings. The inventory they curate never fails to amaze us, with its unique and captivating items.

Omg why can’t I have one of these stores close to me?! It was so fancy and all of the merchandise looked like something I had to have. I bought a wallet and some jewelry and they are still my favorite pieces

Lovely clothes.. bought a few things. It's obvious I'm not rich and one employee did not treat me kindly. Shame.

Such a bad experience that absolutely could have been avoided.
I shopped last year at your highlands NC location and purchased several dresses and skirts and tops. I had never seen the line before and I am an avid golfer and thought the outfits were so cute for golfing. This past Friday I was back in Highlands, North Carolina and told my daughter-in-law that I absolutely needed to go by Spartina and find some more golf outfits. I received an email on Tuesday May 22nd that I had VIP access to enter the store on Wednesday at 9 AM. I would receive 25% off anything in the store. So my daughter-in-law came to the store. I found two dresses and when I got to the counter, I mentioned to the girl about the email that I received that I would receive 25% off. She asked me if I was the VIP. I said I guess so, I got this email. I showed her the email and she told me that that email goes to everyone. She said she would look up my number and see if I’m truly of VIP. So she looks up my information and tells me that I am NOT a VIP and I do not qualify for a discount. Needless to say, I was embarrassed in front of my daughter-in-law and said OK I’ll pay for it, full price. My face was red and I was truly truly shocked. But I didn’t want to make my daughter uncomfortable by making a scene or I didn’t want her to think I didn’t have enough money to pay for two dresses. But at that point I was so upset I truly wanted to leave the dresses and get out of your store. But I paid for the dresses in full. I’m not going to get into my finances at this point, but I will tell you I can afford to purchase two dresses plus many many many many more. But instead of making a huge Issue, I paid the girl and left the store.
When I got home, I got another email that said make sure to use your 25% off since you’re a VIP. I let it go. The next morning I received another email saying “Use your 25% off code VIPsale at check out”.
At this point all I can think is the cashier just did not want to give me the sale. So the next morning without my daughter-in-law, I went to your store on Main Street in Highlands, North Carolina and I went to the counter and asked for a refund. It was the same girl that helped me the other day. I told her nothing was touched in the bag and I’m returning it because you refused to give me 25% off when I clearly showed you that I was entitled to the discount. I showed her that I received email after email after email that I did qualify for the VIP discount. I can’t believe that she then says to me, oh I can give you the discount now if you want. I told her that the entire transaction has left a really bad taste in my mouth and as much as I love your clothes, I will never step foot in your store nor buy from your company online based on this experience. Again, you don’t know me and you don’t realize that I have a lot of extra income and I do love to shop and I love wearing unique clothes. I loved the outfits that I got at Spartina and received a lot of compliments when I wore them to golf. But I’m done. Just thought your management needs to know this so that she doesn’t embarrass another VIP that walks in your store and wants to spend hundreds of dollars.
