Golden Big Bowl

I wasn’t sure when I pulled up! Once I had my first bite, all doubt was gone! This place is amazing!! Great food with amazing taste! Very helpful and polite server!

Came here based off the reviews prior to mine. And I must say that everyone was right. This place is absolutely amazing, great food, huge portions, and amazing price. The biggest standout for me was the charbroiled flavor on the beef and chicken. Yes it is white rice but who cares when you have that extra depth of flavor that comes with that charbroiling. Service was very quick and friendly. I was greeted almost immediately after I walked in the door. Honestly can't give them enough stars for the quality of food. Will definitely be coming back and eating here again 100/10 must go place

Wonderful atmosphere and fast service with friendly employees. 2 people can eat here for under $25.00, easy. Wasn't crowded at all and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The food you get for the money is absolutely fantastic!

A hidden gem! A no-frills teriyaki place that actually serves really good affordable food.The sauce is pretty standard but they actually chargrill their meat, which makes the meat actually tastes like traditional Japanese grilled meat. Would not call this the most authentic, but it did satisfy my craving for real Japanese food a little bit, as odd as it may sounds. Very pleasantly surprised. Best thing to order I think is the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. Too bad it doesn’t come with any veggies, but given the price point, you can add extra and the price is still pretty cheap. Highly recommended!

This place was a random experiment and we were so glad we went! The large chicken bowl was large enough for us to share, but make sure you add vegetables if you are sharing. The extra veggies are $3, but that makes a meal for 2 only $12. The appetizers were good, but not amazing. Sad that they did not have any sauce for the gyoza since deep frying them makes them a bit dry.

We will definitely add this to our Thursday routine for lunch.

Always yummy food, and the medium bowl is good for at least two meals. So much meat - sometimes I wish there was more rice! You always get a good char flavor from the grill, and I like to add avocado to balance it (it's $2.50 extra and you get a whole half avocado, might be cheaper to add your own if you're taking it home to eat).

They have white sauce that you can add at the counter, and take out comes with a small container of it too. I ate in today and started eating before I thought to take a pic, so it's already stirred a bit and several slices of avocado are missing.

The avocado plus a medium drink brought the total to a little over $14 after tax at time of this post.

Also, they always get so busy with carry out orders, but are pretty speedy. It was fun to sit in and watch while eating!

I've been coming here since they opened and... Let Me Tell You! This place is simply amazing. For the portion the price is phenomenal. I usually get a Large Teriyaki Chicken Bowl and I can eat off of it for two days. I used to work across the street and I would eat here everyday. I mean, people like what they like, but I'm sure you will love it as much as I do. You should try if you already haven't. Friendly staff and owner's.

BEST and ONLY teriyaki in Chattanooga! As a Seattle native, I like to think I know teriyaki. They are everywhere in Seattle. None here EXCEPT this amazing comfort food restaurant with a wonderful and direct staff waiting for you to try it and find out what everyone else already knows. All I heard in Chattanooga was "hibachi hibachi, egg show..." this is NOT hibachi it's teriyaki. Meat (choice of chicken beef, shrimp, etc) is all chargrilled over a bed of rice with the wonderful sweet and salty sauce. Its topped with avacado on request, green onions and sesame seeds (last 2 are optional). This is their main fare and if you ever go to a teriyaki spot this is how you tell if the rest of the food is worthwhile. Hot charred and juicy meat. I added a picture and a year later the portions are immense, flavorful and still perfectly cooked. I visit at least twice a month due to my teriyaki addiction.

The teriyaki at this location is outstanding. Chicken and / or beef over rice. We stop by every time we're in town. Keep up the great work!

We eat here a good bit and I haven't had a complaint yet! The food is always made right and the staff is very friendly and courteous

I love eating here ... one of my favorite places, very friendly, I think they are the owners, they always serve you the best and the food that they sell is delicious !!

This place is absolutely a hidden gem of the Greater Chattanooga Area! The beef tastes like actual deli shaved meat, the chicken is actual grilled chicken so tender it melts in your mouth, and the flavor they can achieve is by far the best you will find around. And to top it off, the portions are huge for next to nothing in price. Nothing comes close when you're talking superior product for the price.

Do yourself a favor and go here as soon as possible. We will definitely be going back!

Big plates of tasty meat, no excessive vegetable nonsense, no frills. Just delicious meat and rice, very satisfied.

I love this place and am friends with the staff because I eat here pretty much daily. They are good people. Portion sizes are incredible, it reminds me of 2005 when you could get an affordable bite to eat. You can order a small chicken bowl for $9 and be full and satisfied all day!

This place is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious. We stopped in on a lark and have found a new staple. The portions are generous. Service was friendly and quick. It may not look like much but looks can deffinately be deceiving. You gotta give it a try.

DONT PUT YOUR TIP IN THE TIP JAR! HAND IT TO THE CASHIER! otherwise they dont get their tips!

Honestly the owners of this restaurant are some of the kindest people I have ever talked to. I always get a medium chicken teriyaki bowl and an egg roll. The chicken is amazing with the charbroil on it, and the rice is my favorite. The white steamed rice is accompanied so well by the flavorful chicken. I love this place and the owners make it even more enjoyable.

The best dinner on the fly!!! rice chicken beef fish shrimp what would you like they even do burgers and teriyaki burgers! Golden big bowl is a staple in this community! The owner and the staff are always warm an welcoming everything's cooked on the request!
